there were many sides to choi yeonjun, but behind the typical charming and cool persona that he decides to put on whenever he was in school or when he was out, beomgyu saw many sides that not many people saw, after all being brothers with someone for a long time was long enough to know each other's true personalities.
yeonjun wasn't as mysterious as what other people perceive him to be. he was just private about how he felt and only truly opened up to the people that he felt the most comfortable with. to put it simply, he had four sides where only some people could easily access, and beomgyu was lucky to be one of them.
exhibit 1: touchy
by first glance, yeonjun seemed untouchable. everyone tried getting closer to him but were either turned down politely or just simply ignored. beomgyu tried getting yeonjun to let loose a little, but yeonjun simply doesn't want to.
"that's the fifth person this week that you've rejected." beomgyu said, shaking his head in mild amusement as he stared at the girl who walked away with her head held low.
"come on, we barely came to this new school for a month and i already have people that i barely know chasing me." yeonjun whined.
the choi siblings had a lavish background, their parents hopping around the entire country for their new business ventures, which resulted in them switching schools every three years or so.
"but dad said that we'll be here for good, at least try to be nicer to the people here." beomgyu reasoned while waving back at another girl that bashfully waved at him first.
"i'm not as nice as you are." yeonjun grumbled, slinging an arm around beomgyu's shoulders and leaning his entire body weight on his younger brother.
"you're heavy." beomgyu complained, but let the older continue to lean on him, and yeonjun smiled a little.
"my baby brother is getting big now." yeonjun sighed contently, poking beomgyu's cheek.
"people are staring." beomgyu said, smiling awkwardly at other people who were walking past them in the hallway.
"let them stare, we aren't the visual brothers in his school for nothing." yeonjun gloated, sending a playful wink towards beomgyu and he just sighed, pushing the older off and turning to the other direction.
"i'm late for class, kai's looking for me!" beomgyu called out before sprinting away, while yeonjun yelled a "study well!" before leaving for his own class.
that was just a daily occurrence that happened between the two, but yeonjun simply gets even clingier when he's back at home or whenever their friends come over.
they have movie nights every friday, and the default venue would be at the siblings' house. yeonjun would take any given opportunity to cling onto the unfortunate victim next to him, which just so happens to be beomgyu all the time since the other three would choose to stay away from yeonjun.
"it's my turn to chose a movie!" yeonjun exclaimed once their three other friends arrive at the choi's house.
"please don't let it be disney." taehyun said, already making himself comfortable on the couch at his usual spot at the edge, a big bag of chips in his arms.
"it's always going to be disney." yeonjun said, grabbing the controller as the others groaned, plopping down on the couch.
kai was next to taehyun, the two youngest sharing the big bag of chips. soobin was in the middle, and he just sleeps throughout their movie nights and uses either kai or beomgyu as a pillow. beomgyu was next to soobin, a big bowl on popcorn between his legs so yeonjun and him could share.
