Today's the day that we left for the concert and London is funning around like a maniac because she thinks she forgot something but I'm going to calmly slap her across the face if she doesn't stop. She's driving me nuts.
I put our bags in moms car and walked back inside and sat at the island. "Ladies come here quick?!" mom shouted from the living room. I grabbed London by the shoulders from her running spree and turned her toward the living room. We all took a seat. "Guys I have something to tell you two and you both may think I'm joking entirely and this is some prank or something but this is real and I want you both to know that..." She stopped as there was a knock at the door. You'd think she was going to tell us who our dad was or something with the seriousness and the look on her face but nope as soon she answered the door a man in a suit walked in and hugged my mother. "Uhm guys this is my fiancé Jai." me and London looked at each other shocked. we didn't even know she had a boyfriend let alone a fiancé. Good lord what are we gonna do.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys, I just didn't think you too would be too happy about it but I hope you are happy for me and I want both of you to be in the wedding."
of course we were happy for her she was out mom. But how couldn't we be a tad unhappy for her? We don't even know who out real dad is and she's throwing the fact we're going to have a stepdad before we know our fathers name at the least.
"Wow mom that so cool! of course we'll be in the wedding were your daughters! it's a given." we said as we said hellos to Jai and started to head out the door before we were off schedule. "but we do have to go now mom. we don't want to be late for our plane. this is extremely important!"
"yeah yeah let's go."
jai had left the house with us but drive off in a different direction maybe to work or something. who knows.
"uhm girls there's something else that I have to tell you, it's the bing I was going to tell you before jai came down. obviously I was going to tell you about him but I wasn't entirely prepared I had a whole set up and everything but it's okay."
"ma, get to the point."
"right right. well, like I said it's a bit out there and you won't believe me, but in high school, I hooked up with well, your dad and I did get pregnant but I wanted to tell you that your dad is well, it's "g-eazy" as he goes by..."
We didn't know what to do. we just sat there staring at her waiting for her to say it was a joke it then I remembered. He did live in the same state as her and that leave a possible chance that. Gerald.was.our.dad.

and greet/VIP story he's ever heard...
