When life tastes bitter than lemons

Sitting down staring at Owami as he told me how his first day was at school was something I never thought would happen. Because honestly I never thought life would look so peaceful after everything we've been through. I really loved Owami to the core of my heart,he was my first priority,my light in the darkness ,my hope this boy right here was the reason why I was still alive ..

Owami: mwammy dwid you hear wah I sayd?

Owami asked waving his little hand infront of my face to get my attention.

Me : yes baby boy I heard what you said nana now how about we get you cleaned up than come down and have dinner,is that okay boy boy?

Owami : but I'm noyt dirty mwammy

One thing you couldn't resist about Owami where his puppy eyes ,the moment he gives you those eyes trust me you would even give him a million if he asked for it. Having those hazel brown eyes made it even more worse to say no when he asked for something .

Me :I know baby ,but you know you can't go to bed without taking a bath,so let's go get you cleaned than I'll Order pizza for you okay??

At the mention of pizza Owami gave me a wide smile showing off his small teeth 😹
Owami :yaaaay pizzaaaa,okay mwammy lets gooo?

After getting Owami all cleaned I ordered romans pizza on Mr D app then went down to get the plates out while Owami watched his favorite cartoon on tv.
As I was about to sit down I heard the door bell ring knowing it was our pizza since I wasn't expecting anyone I quickly took my wallet and paid for the pizza than called Owami to take his pizza. After eating I tucked Owami in bed and went downstairs to watch Tv since I was not yet tired .
