I've made my decision in five seconds flat and charged forward with tears of regret, falling from my eyes. I put full force on my swing, Lennard snapped out of his own thoughts and picked up the rod in full speed, blocking my attack.
He pushed me back. I stumbled. To be fair I shifted my hands away from the buttons, so that I wouldn’t instantly kill my brother.
Both of us charged. Our rods slammed against each others, causing a sharp metallic piecing noise. I pushed harder and Lennard did the same. I gritted my teeth as we stayed locked in this position for less then a minute. Then we broke free. I leaped back and rolled on to my knees. I held up my rod as Lennard’s slammed on to mine. His force pushed me back. I’d gasped and kicked him in the guts. He flinched backwards as his force lessened.
“You are going to play rough with your older sister eh?” I said.
“It’s not like I’m going to lose, after all, you are a girl.” He smirked.
“Then show your sister what you’ve got, one of us is going to die anyway,” I said, keeping my tone as clam as I can.
Luka’s eyes widened with amusement and my father seemed to get some kind of a catch. The match continued this time with more seriousness thrown in. Each dodge, each attack I thought of finding a way to say Lennard’s personal hell. I finally managed to knock away Lennard’s rod and pinned him to the ground, my rod pressed on to his neck.
“Sis,” He whispered, loud enough just for me to hear. “You’re unfair, you have more practice.”
“I know,” I whispered back.
I pressed the rod down even harder causing Lennard to make choking sounds. I’d looked past his eyes and into his soul, a image of a dove was trapped in a thorny cage, flashed into my mind. Serval images of my brother holding a gun and shooting innocent people, who didn’t obey orders at a mine, his hands were bloody, a pained looked stuck on his face as he shot them, one by one. It hurt to look as the images burned in my head, but another imaged shock me the most. An disturbing image of him being forced in a concealed room
That bitch. What I saw in him was something that made me cringe and disgusted with myself. Luka had him wrapped around her finger, forcing him to stay with her for a night, forcing her hand up his loosely button shirt. Her pink, perfectly manicured fingers traced his well built body. He tried to lean away, but he was forced down and threatened if he didn’t obey. I couldn’t bare to look anymore and wretched my gaze away from him. Last imagine of him full of shame burned in my head.
I bit my lip so hard, trying to hold in the scream and need to clear my mind for a bit. A drop of blood landed on Lennard’s face. My mind exploded as I couldn’t believe that I’ve witness something far more disturbing than the disjointed torsos of metal and flesh. I’d clench my teeth and slapped him across the face.
“How disgraceful,” I muttered between my teeth and then turn my attention to Luka. “I win and now set him free.”
“For what?” she mused.
I dropped my rod and glared at Luka as I slowly walked up to her. My rage had gone off it’s limit ready to burn anyone who gets in the way.
“Me, in exchange for his place,” I demanded.
“You are no fun. I’d rather keep my pet,” Luka said and crossed her arms.
“Fine,” I snapped. “Then I guess you really don’t want the second key to the world of the almighty one, don’t you? I’ll just stab myself in the stomach, you scum,”
I’d begin reaching for my father’s sword that hung beside him.
“You wouldn’t!” My father glared at me and inch back, enough for me to miss hold the katana.
“Why wouldn’t I?” I shot back. “I’ve already had blood in my hands and no matter how many times I die it’s not going to make up for all those innocent drones of hers.”
“Fine,” Luka said in defeat and murmured some words that did not sound human.
I watched the choker as it magically released from Lennard’s bruised and bloody throat and was then transferred to my own throat.
I gasped as the choker tightened around my neck, the thorns drawing out fresh blood. I turned back to my brother and threw him a wary smile.
