I woke up to my annoying alarm clock and i shut it off. I got out of bed and went to my closet. I pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and a blue lace top with a pair of Vans to match. I quickly took a shower and blow dried my hair. I didn't have a whole lot of time, so i just left it natural. I put my clothes on and done my everyday makeup. I put on my Victoria's Secret PINK zip-up hoodie and grabbed my phone and school bag. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I went downstairs and grabbed my keys. I locked the door behind me and went to my car.
I walked in the school and went to my locker. I put everything in my locker and got my binder and notebooks out. As i closed my locker, i saw Faith and Amber. "Hey." I smiled. I saw Chris heading this way. "Can you drive us home today?" Faith asked and i nodded. "Hey." Chris said. "Oh hi." Amber said while giving me a wink. I rolled my eyes. "Hey Chris." I said. "Hey Amber, come help me with my makeup." Faith said and they walked away. "Well that was obviously an excuse to leave because Faith's makeup was on point." Chris said causing me to laugh. "You have a point." I said and we began walking to class. I sat in my assigned seat and began taking notes.
The rest of the day went by fast and i am now at my locker getting my books. "Mariana." I heard from behind me. I looked up to see Madison and Jenna. "What" I said faking a smile. Madison opened her mouth to speak, but got all heart eyed when Chris walked up. "Hey, Mariana, wanna hang out after school?" Chris asks and i nod. "Cool. I'll text you later." He said as he ran off with his group. Madison looked mad. "So you and Chris, huh?" She said and laughed bitterly. "You gotta problem with it?" I raised an eyebrow. "Uhm, Yea." I rolled my eyes. "You have a boyfriend! You need to learn to leave me, and any other girl who talks to a guy you find attractive, alone. We are people, and we live in America. It's a free country, and we can talk to whoever we want." I said and walked away. I waited outside for Faith and Amber. "So you stood up to Madison?" Faith said when she saw me. I nodded. "Yeah." She gave me a look. "Well, what happened? Why'd you tell her off?" Amber asked. "I was at my locker and she came behind me and then Chris came up and she started asking questions, so i told her off." I said as i got in the car. "So are you and Chris a thing yet?" Faith asked and i rolled my eyes. "No. We're just friends." I said.
