THE PRINCE OF NIGHT

🥀CHAPTER IV🥀

Glenn didn't move a muscle, speak or even blink after hearing the truth from Josh. At first, Josh thought he killed Glenn with the truth about him, but then Glenn smiled to him. Josh getting more confused than ever with his act like that.

"Glenn ? Are you okay ?" Josh asked with worried.

"It's a lie.. I know you're lying, it's impossible that you're a Vampire.. Vampire doesn't exist!! You lie!" He yelled at Josh and rose from his seat.

"No.. I'm not, Glenn.. it's the truth, I'm a Vampire.. I'm not joking, kidding or pranking you.. I am a Vampire" Josh replied while looking at him serious but Glenn laughed hard at Josh.

"If you truly a Vampire, I've heard they can change their forms into Bat and can control some mist or something.. also their fear of Cross but why you're attending Church ?" He replied with disbelief.

"You want some proof ? Fine.. let me show you, take me to the Church.. now, I'll show it to you" Josh replied and rose from his seat and took Glenn's hand and move to car and he drove down the Cliff to the Church where they first met.

In-front of the door, Josh looked pale even paler than when he's on the Cliff but he keep moving and opening the Church door and straight to the Altar, he Kneeled before the great silver cross on the Altar and bows his head lower.

"What are you doing, Josh ?" Glenn asked with confusion.

"Do it, take the silver cross and holly water.. splash it to me and place the cross on my back or my hands you shall see.. do it, Glenn.. I'll show you the proof" Josh answered with serious tone.

Without hesitation, Glenn picked the silver cross and the holy water, then he splash it to Josh's body and a small smoke appears from his suit. Josh groan in pain but he's still holding all the pain until, Glenn give him the silver cross and let the cross burn his skin and make him scream in pain. Even fire sparks coming out from his hand.
With panic, Glenn took away the silver cross and place it near the Altar and hug Josh tight. Josh didn't reply or say anything, he's still in pain after the holy water and the cross but after some times he managed to heal himself, he push Glenn hard.

"Why do you do that, Josh ? Why you push me ? I'm sorry.. I didn't meant to.." Before Glenn can finish his word, Josh hurried to turn his heels and walked away from Glenn and the Altar into the darkness of the night.

Glenn ran at Josh and hold his hand but instead of put aside his hand, Josh take his hand and on a whim, Josh change his form into bat and took Glen fly above the night sky. Glenn screaming in fear when he look down and keep on holding Josh's bat feet and almost crying, Josh hear it and fly near the lake and put Glenn with gentle on a rock and Josh change his form back to human form and giggled at Glenn. He showed his fang and smiled at him.

"You almost killed me! what makes you laugh ?!" Yelled Glenn but Josh just giggled but soon Glenn join to giggle and smiled back at him.

"Now do you believe me, that I'm a Vampire ?" Said Josh while smiling and Glenn nodded. 

Instead of stepping away from Josh, Glenn hugged Josh. Josh felt something different when Glenn hugged him and when he hugged him back, he felt a spark of joy and happiness with Glenn the way he never have with someone else. A feeling that seems already gone since the day he leaved Transylvania but that feeling coming back again to him right after Glenn hugged him. 

When he almost fall deeply into Glenn's hug, he pushed Glenn away and looked at him with sad face but Glenn hold his hand and smiled at him. 

"Hey, it's okay.. I won't tell anyone that you're a Vampire.. I promise.." He said, but Josh quickly shook his head and decide to change his form into a bat and go away from Glenn. 

"Wait!! No! don't leave me.. Josh! come back.. Josh!" Screamed Glenn but Josh keep flying away from him and gone into the night. Josh didn't comeback to his house, he stay on a tree near the mountain to clear his mind from Glenn and thinking what should he do about Glenn. 

A Vampire and a Human can't never be united because it will broke the law of nature, but Josh can't just say it to Glenn that seems already found peace and joy lies with him. He can't think clearly that what the best way that he should do to prevent Glenn from heart break, but knowing him as a Vampire already killed Glenn without he even realize but turns out, Glenn accept the truth with open arm and smiled at him. 

Josh screamed loud and punched the tree until his hand got hurt but he can't even think about what should he do for Glenn. He stayed at the tree until near dawn and by the last darkness from the night almost gone by the light of sun, Josh change himself into Bat and flew to his Mansion and sleep inside his coffin while thinking what should he do next.
