Heart Strings Chapter 4

~Narrator~

Little you was calmly sleeping surprisingly on captain Kirkland bed as the worried Allistor who sat beside you convinced the captain you'd lay there, he tried to feed you slowly in hopes that you'd awaken "since when do you worry about children dying or not?" Snorted Arthur.

Allistor looked extremely pissed glaring into his eyes "look you little shit of a brother my killing days are over and you know that" he said in the most cooled pissed off tone however inside he remembered the terrible memories of his past eating always his mind day by day "so...going soft already? That's pathetic" smirked Arthur tempting him to get even more pissed off but Allistor noticed this and used it as an opportunity to get on Arthur's bad side

"what about you? Adopting a child? Haven't you had enough judging by the last ti-" "shut the fuck up! Or I'll throw you aboard this ship you hear me!" Yelled Kirkland interrupting him causing Allistor to flinch and spill the cup of water beside your body getting you wet.

He murmured "like you could" Allistor backed out as he was just to conflicted and walked out to the top of the ship, once there he lighted his cigarette taking a big puff of the poisonous toxins he tried to smoke away his thoughts along with the stress that came with it. Allistor clearly pushed the wrong buttons even though it were the exact buttons he was asking for.

~ Readers Dream~

You felt hazy and your body felt so numb yet you could still move, you stood on both feet you were standing in front of an entrance to a dark alley, once again you felt fear as you heard familiar wails of grief and loneliness mixed in with growls...

You started walking into the ally against your will and what you found there was a wolf not the most common in the area, it circled around something pacing if you will while howling growling and whining it was sniffing a small body, as much as you didn't want to your curiosity got the best of you so this time you chose to walk up closer to the wolf,

It didn't seem to have noticed you. You looked at the little body of a human baby wrapped in a cloth laid out on the ground the wolf was acting strangely why hasn't it attacked yet? Why is in the eating her? "Hey get back!" You heard yelling from behind you.

As you turned around your eyes widened at the man holding a hand gun in the second you laid eyes on him a bullet shot right through you, your heart stated pounding but you realised you weren't hurt as you reached out to see we're the bullet struck you a screech sounded from behind you once again

As the man walked slowly up to you along with a woman you noticed behind you the wolf that had now been bleeding out you ran to it and touched its head the felling of its fur was familiar you felt sad for the poor thing it did nothing wrong but protect this baby. The woman ran up and picked up the baby's body checking if it was alive, once confirmed they walked away with the child.

You followed them all the way into a tall building it seems as you can touch anything but nobody can see you, so as you snuck into the building the couple set the baby on the bed a few quiet minutes passed until they started to argue "what were you thinking?! We were supposed to go hunting and you brought the child with you! We don't have the money to take care of a child we can't even feed ourselves!!" The man shouted at her as she cried "we can't just leave her! That wolf was going to devout her!"

The man got aggressive and started throwing things onto the floor "you get rid of that thing or I'll do it myself! You're just misleading that child it can't survive in this world!" He smashed the door closed and ran out, the woman sobbed as she looked at the baby surprisingly still asleep and walked out into another room, you took this as an opportunity to look at the baby closer.
