"Bye mom" Ricky hugged his mother and kissed her on the cheek.
"Promise you'll call me everyday." She said
"Sure mom." He said
He moved on to his girlfriend, Taylor.
He hugged her
"Promise you'll send me letters." He said not letting go
"I'll call you." She said not letting go either
"Letters." Said Ricky
"Why letters?" She said thinking this is the last hug she'll get in a while.
"Cause they're more romantic." He said letting go while smiling
Taylor laughed as Ricky kissed her on her cheek.
"Goodbye" she said
"Goodbye." He said
He kissed the rest of his family goodbye and set off to catch the plane.

I'm now on the plane and we took off 10 minutes ago. I see clouds and the land down there is a really beautiful view.
I decided to text Taylor
"Hey Tay,
Just took off 10 minutes ago. Already missing you and hope you text back soon." I texted
She texted back 2 minutes later
"I'm so happy you got this role. You are going to do great. I'm missing you too. Hope the clouds are pretty;)"
"Oh they are, but no more beautiful than you. Love you<3." I texted
"Love you too." She texted back

(Back at home, Taylor's pov)
After everyone went inside, I say on the curb just thinking how grateful and lucky I am to have a boyfriend like Ricky. And then the moment was ruined when Nash came over to me.
"Where's your little boyfriend?" He asked
"Shut up. He just left for the new show he's in."
"Yeah. Pretty sure he's a background character."
"Actually he's not he's one of the mains. So shut up. Ricky is better than you." I said
"Ricardo." He corrected me
"I don't get what you see in him. I'm much better looking. Plus basically he left you."
"He didn't leave me, he'll be gone for 3 months or 4."
"Or 5 or 6,7,8. Face it. Have you heard who booked the role of the two main characters? Lauren Taylor and Landry Bender! Damn Lauren is hot asf and Landry is 2 years younger but really pretty."
"I get where you're coming from with Lauren but really Landry is pretty average."
"Sure. She gorgeous. I'd date her."
"You'd date anyone you can."
"Trust! He's gonna meet a new girl out in L.A and they are gonna fall in love and forget all about you." Nash said
