Bridgette and Geoff are in a difficult relationship where they're very strained. They have twin children, Sam and Lindy. Sam has just come out as gay which his father is struggling with accepting - as he had an idea of what his son would be like. Bridgette is feeling strained from Lindy after finding out Lindy has a coke addiction.

After moving in to their new home they meet the live in maid Courtney, who catches Cody's eye. Courtney enjoys the attention, but Bridgette gets a bad vibe from her.

They also meet their neighbour who lives on the same property, Blaineley. Blaineley is a cold woman who taunts Bridgette. It's also revealed that Blaineley despises Courtney.

As school starts, Sam struggles making friends until he meets the neighbour's son Noah. Noah flirts with Lindy, but winks at Sam. As time progresses, Noah and Sam get closer.

Another man, Cody keeps spontaneously appearing. Cody was the former owner of the house, who moved out mysteriously after his husband was murdered.

As time progresses, Cody sleeps with Courtney, and Blaineley pressures Bridgette into getting revenge.

Bridgette does so, and she's seduced by Noah who she sleeps with and gets pregnant by. Fuelled with rage, Bridgette turns her anger back to Blaineley, but Blaineley turns it onto Courtney, and the two women murder her.

Bridgette is surprised to find she's still alive, and that's where Blaineley tells her she's dead.

Bridgette is shocked.

Meanwhile, Lindy who fell in love with Noah takes some drugs after finding him sleeping with Sam.

Bridgette finds her, and tries to get the family to leave, but they find Lindy is already dead.

Shocked, they go to get her body, but they decide they can't leave, and they call a spirit medium. But after she realises the evil around, she goes to do a banishing spell. However, when the spirit medium is killed by Cody who doesn't want the spirits destroyed, and she joins the ranks.

The angry spirits then turn on the family, and Cody kills the Lindy-ghost. Noah then protects the others as he takes Bridgette, Geoff and Sam into the basement to hide.

Blaineley who is a hateful woman points them out however, and they're chased down.

That's when the family learns everyone - Cody, Courtney, Blaineley, and Noah are spirits.

They're trapped, and Geoff sacrifices himself as he's stabbed so the others can leave.

Noah is honest with Sam about sleeping with his mother, and Sam is shocked.

After Geoff is murdered, Bridgette is kidnapped however as Sam escapes off the property, believing his mother dead.

Bridgette is tied up as the other ghosts want her baby, and she's held hostage.

Meanwhile, Sam escapes for a few months, and goes into hiding, where he even gets a new boyfriend.

A while later, Sam is told by his counsellor he should face his demons, and so he does, and he returns to his house roughly when his little sibling would be due. That's where he sees no one has moved in. Sam goes downstairs and sees his mother still trapped, and when he goes to free her he's knocked out by Cody and tied up.

Sam wakes up and he sees Courtney has ghost Geoff, Noah, and Lindy tied up. That's when it starts. Bridgette begins giving birth. After she does, she dies in childbirth.

There is then a fight for the baby, which Sam ends up winning, and he takes his younger brother to the edge of the house, before stopping and giving him to his new boyfriend and telling him to run. He does so, and leaves.

Sam decides he needs to help his family, and he goes and helps free the ghosts. Cody then kills him.

Sam wakes up, and helps his family attack the other ghosts. Together, with help from Noah - who he's forgiven - his family (Geoff, Bridgette, Lindy), and the medium, they banish Cody, Courtney, and Blaineley's ghost to another phase.

They then vow to stop anyone else entering and having the same fate as they had.

Geoff and Bridgette resolve their issues, and stay together. Sam and Noah do the same, and they share their bed. Geoff has learned to accept his son, and he loves him. Lindy is happy for them and she now does drugs with her mother.
