FINDING MY DAD

"Mum, the door to the storeroom is Locked and I can't find the key" - I said aloud because my mum was upstairs.
" Check under the rugs....you will find it" - my mum replied sweetly. I checked and luckily I found the keys....I went about my business before going to meet my mum to hand her her medicine.

* Hey guys....am Hannah and I live with my younger sister ' Emerald ' and my lovely single mum...our dad left us when he found out that Emerald was a girl and not a boy which my mum couldn't bring forth. He always complains about the fact that we look like her with our curly brown hair and ocean blue eyes. So technically....ever since I was two I've never seen my dad and I don't plan on seeing him at all. I'm just 18 years old and I have accomplished so much by myself with my family by my side.
"Mum please have you medicine" I overheard my sis telling my mum who refused to have her medicine until I came in. Seeing me at the door she immediately had it without hesitation as i sat beside her saying " If you really want to get well you need your medicine....Emerald and i need to get some stuff at the supermarket we'll be back ". She waved us as we left.
Though we didn't have a car, we were professional pedestrians and we loved it no whether we are so thin and fit.
My sis and I loved to play on the road so we did that when we had the chance to. While we were playing in the middle of the road, a black Royce rolls almost harmed me but my sis immediately pushed me and we fell to the ground.
When I stood up,cars were lined up and it was luxurious. The driver came out yelling at me like an animal.
" Can't you see? Are you blind? You have no car yet you stay in the middle of the road" he continued yelling at me until he heard a man's voice from behind - I think that's his boss. His voice sounded calm yet harsh as she driver shivered in fear...so did I.
The driver immediately drove off
" It wasn't our fault thou but who was that....the one with the powerful aura?" My sis asked ." How am I supposed to know.... please let's go"- I said as we got what we wanted and headed back home to prepare lunch. We told my mom about our encounter on the way and she advised us to stay away from such people because they were the Mafia family which our dad was apart of.
I ( Hannah) headed straight to my room for my online class while Emerald slept off. I never played with my studies because I needed to show the world that girls can be independent and hardworking not like men but more than especially my dad. I want to be a doctor, to save lives without having to ask for money all the time.
After like an hour, I dozed off few minutes and was woken up by my mum who informed me about my classes at the hospital. I quickly wore a black joggers, purple hoodie and a black and gold air force. I headed straight to Steve Austin's Hospital which was one of the best hospitals in the world....only the rich gets admitted into this hospital.
When I got there, the lessons had already started, thou it was a recap of yesterday .
The person in charge gave me one of the best punishment for being late which was to teach the class all he taught yesterday. I taught them for more than half an hour about what he said and about my knowledge - he was impressed and asked me to continue....I obeyed and didn't notice that someone had been watching me for a while now till I sat down.
I saw the man that almost hit me with his car and another man Infront of him...the man Infront looked different...but I wasn't sure how...he was handsome and neat ....I quickly looked another way because I didn't want anything to do with Mafia.
Heading home I spotted my bestie ....we talked for a while and she advised me to let loose a bit and have fun but I didn't want to so I went back home to see wat awaited for me.
Entering the building, I couldn't hear any noise or music and I knew Emerald always played music in the evening. Knowing fully well that something was wrong I ran upstairs to see men in black and guns pointed to my mum and Emeralds head. I sensed my world crumbling down and I had to be strong but I already had tears in my eyes.
" Sit"- a man in his 40's ordered me to and I did.
" Hannah, you've actually grown so much that u can't remember your old pal" - he added and I became confused." Who are you?" I asked but he ordered me to direct the question to my mum which he said with a smirk and my mum said with tears while kneeling " He's.....he's your dad" I was out of words at this point.... someone I never wanted to meet was right Infront of me and all I wanted do was to give him a tight slap or more but if I did...I would be dead due to the situation I found myself in.
