POV - Nate ( Incoming Nigerian transition)
Omo this girl get mind enter my room dey talk nonsense. I just dey look am cuz wetin I wan do am she fit die but the girl to fine. Thou I don't like her I was forced to bring her into my home and make her my wife. I went to work  that night because I had a lot to do with my dad in the office.
" What's your plan?"- My dad asked me
" I don't know dad...."- I replied him.
" The borders told me that you need to  have a son before inheriting the business"
" How do they expect me to do that ?"- I asked my dad calmly.
'You have a wife so do something "- he added with a smirk.
" She isn't my wife dad... please "
" Shut up and listen.....You have to do something quick if u want to inherit my business or else you know who has it and u can't do anything without Hannah "- my dad said.
" I'll think about it" - My dad left the office and I met with one of my friend.
* Nate met his friend Miles at a club....told him about what's been going on in a drunk state.
" I believe that if you truly want to inherit your dad's business.....do what they say"- Miles said.
" But I don't love her....she isn't my type at all"- Nate said in a drunk state. Nate said at the club till 9 pm with miles.
Nate came back late that night..... though I was worried ( Hannah) I didn't like to admit it.
When he came back, he didn't even ask of me neither did he look for me.
The next morning he asked of me and summoned me to his room....
" How did I get here?"- he asked me.
" Your friend named Miles dropped u off".- I replied softly.
" Sure....you can get out"- he ordered me rudely and I just left not wanting anything more.
I went downstairs wanting to watch one of my favorite movies....when David saw me...snatched the remote control from my hand and slapped me. I didn't do anything to him yet he just wanted to hurt me. I held my face right as tears flooded my face which already became red ..
" What's going on here?"- Nate asked.
" He slapped me"- I childishly pointed at David.
" Why?"- Nate
" Direct that question to your useless wife and not me"- David said rudely.
" I might not love her but that doesn't give you the right to slap her"- Nate
" She saw me and didn't hesitate to even greet"- David
" That doesn't give you the right to slap her"- Nate took me upstairs to his room and sat me down.
" I need you to stay away from David.....Got it?"- Nate said
" Got it but I didn't do anything to him."
" And I didn't say you did..... He'll be leaving for his own house soon so don't worry."- Nate.
I loved the fact that Nate was calm when he spoke towards me sometimes 😃.
His room had a king sized bed, a door which led to the balcony, Walk in closet, Jacuzzi. " You may leave " he said and I did.

Few weeks had passed and I knew alot about Nate.

**Flashback**
David was seen shouting at Nate for no such reason again.....Knowing full well that Nate wouldn't do anything I decided to stand up for him
" You have no right to talk to my husband like that "- I said with confidence.
" And who do you think you are by interfering?"- David asked with hatred evident on his face.
" Am his legal wife..... whether by marriage or whatsoever "- I added
" If only I could see those wings you are growing....I would chop them off"- he said wanting to slap me when Nate stood Infront of him to protect me.
" Just leave her out of this please"- Nate said as he dragged me upstairs.
" Are you out of your mind?.... What did you think down there.....that you could fight him all alone?"- He scolded
" Well you were there to protect me so I wasn't alone"- I said
" What if I wasn't there.....?"
" You're my husband so you'll always be there.....I...I mean you will always be home with me"- I said trying to correct myself and he just walked out.
He couldn't even say thank you....such a meanie.
His sister cordillia had told me alot about his childhood .
" Nates only friend is Miles....Nate never wanted to be around people.....he loves his quiet time."- Cordillia said
" That explains it all"- I said.
We talked all night about Nates dislikes and likes before she went back home. Later that night, Nate informed me that Emerald now belongs to David meaning that they are now a married couple. I didn't want my sis to end up with such a person but what could I do.... Nothing.

While in my room, I was informed that my sis was downstairs so I rushed down to see to but to my surprise my very own sis had changed jus within a week.
My sister,David and Nate were present in the living room. David introduced his wife to us. I wanted to hug my sister but she rudely pushed me.
" Don't you dare touch me !"- Emerald
" It's me ..... Hannah"- I tried to make her know but it seemed like she already did.
" And so fucking what....am not that little girl any more that you can rule over...am Emerald Symion so put some respect to the name"- She rudely said to me.
" This can't be my sister..... Emerald please stop what ever drama you are playing"- I said thinking she was playing but she wasn't .
" Shut that dirty trap.....Now am not in any ones shadow so let me breath."- She added and left the house with David.
" Are you ok?"- Nate asked me.
"Am not....am not "- I said crying ad I held onto Nates shirt.
"I worked my ass out....day and night just to put food on her table and make sure she is happy but look at how she repays me"- I continued crying as Nate patted my head gently.
"I understand so please stop crying "- he said to me but I refused.
" You don't understand anything.... nothing bothers you cause you have money to do everything "- I said as I continued hitting his bare chest. He handed me water to drink not knowing he added something to it I drank it and I soon fell asleep.
