My teeth were clenched as I continued mining the silver ore veins that were exposed allowing my hatred of the Silver-blood family to act as a catalyst for my adrenaline so I could keep going longer imagining their smug arrogant faces on the face of the oar as I drove my pickaxe right into its center where their faces were. For what that family did to mine I will not rest until I have purged them from the Reach, and slaughter them like the backstabbing swine that they are. With every chunk of silver ore I mined I tossed it into a wagon behind me before moving to another section I actually while i was digging managed to cause a bit of a cave collapse exposing a lot more silver ore. I gathered as much as I could before wheeling it out. Immediately after I got the ore to the surface I used the village's smelter to start smelting the silver ore. I noticed Yamma and Gentu coming out of the Iron Mine on the other side of the little mining town that was once my home I looked up and saw Asadelf transmuting the iron ore they collected into silver ore before they wheeled the silver ore over to me which I gave a thankful nod for as I started immediately smelting them down into silver ingots before passing the ninety percent of the ingots over to my uncle as my desire to preserve my family land far exceeded my desire for revenge against the Silver-bloods and the thalmar. I pulled the wagon of the silver ingots over and I noticed that my uncle and the boss were standing in front of the ruins of my old home. I smiled a little it was just like the boss wanting to know what was wrong with me I could hear my uncle was about to get into the story but I decided that the boss after all he's done for me, he deserves to hear it from the horse's mouth. Just as I was about to interject and offer to explain Severin rushed over. " Ebon-shi turns out those Silver-blood mercenaries spoke the truth, there's a supply shipment horse carriage being pulled down the road right now it'll be here in about five minutes." The boss looked up before looking at me and giving Severin a nod. " Time to rob from the rich and give to the needy." Ebon-shi said giving me a knowing smile which I returned with a grateful nod of the head I put the cart of silver ingots next to my uncle before rushing down the path to set up a trap. Gila quickly got to work cutting down an overhanging tree to block the way so the horse-drawn carriage couldn't go anywhere once it stopped we would spring our attack and I knew exactly who my primary target would be. When the supply carriage arrived it stopped once it realized the road was blocked which is when we sprung our attack. The surrounding Silver-blood mercenaries stood no chance as we slaughtered them like pigs in a slaughter house and my attention immediately went to the youngest member of the Silver-blood family who in a futile attempt to save his pitiful ass drew his silver sword off of his hip. " Oh look at this, a Silver-blood pig with a spine, this should be fun." I said as I drew my blades katana off of my hip the glint of the akaviri weapon reflected the sunlight of the evening dusk as his eyes widened. I approached as the feeble entitled nord attempted to block my sword only for my blade to slash the silver sword tip clean off of the blade and the look of pure shock on his face made my heart dance as I swung my sword again slashing the blade off at the hilt and walked towards him as the young whelp threw the handle at me which bounced off of my helmet as he knelled begging for mercy. The sight of him on his knees awakened the hatred I had for the Silver-blood family like a tidal wave. my blades boot brutally slammed across his face as he fell to the ground and my foot started stomping on him. " Aww what's wrong you pathetic little shit, your family the 'great and noble' Silver-bloods can't save you?~" I said as I kept brutally stomping on him, I slammed my boot onto his arm The sound of breaking bone was followed by his screams as he begged for his life. " You poor milk drinker, your family is so used to looking down on others, now how does it feel knowing your being looked down upon by the last of the Silver-tongue family~." I taunted as I sheathed my sword and pulled out my silver crossbow and threw him against the tree and tied him to the tree limbs before shooting regular iron bolts into his hands and feet crucifying him using the bolts they wouldnt use because they were 'beneath them' then took his nordic dagger, I stripped all of his armor off and carved into his bare chest with his own dagger 'Silver-blood pig' then stabbed his dagger into his shoulder with a letter for the whole Silver-blood family. I then took great pleasure as we made him watch as we raided his family's supplies and tributes and then burned the rest before leaving the young nord there to either be rescued by his family's lapdogs or die. After we were done we bade farewell to my uncle and we made our way back to our hideout but due to seeing a gang of mercenaries coming, we took refuge in the mining shack of Kolskeggr mine until the coast was clear. Once the enemies were gone we made our way back to our hideout behind the waterfall and I sat down in the corner hugging my knees to my chest as I felt Tully's daedric gauntlet on my shoulder silently asking if I was okay. " I guess you all want to know about the reason for my hatred for the Silver-blood family?" I asked as Ebon-shi crouched in front of me placing a gentle hand on my shoulder. " It would help us understand, but if you choose not to tell we will respect your wish." Ebon-shi said with a genuine smile. This group was the closest thing to a family I had so I nodded and decided it was time to tell. " I was five years old when it happened, The Silver-bloods and Silver-tongues were allies and the matriarchs were raised together when their Jarl decided that my grandfather the youngest of the two would inherit the Reach. The leader of the Silver-bloods felt disgraced as he was the eldest it was his birthright so after the jarl died he sold my family out to the thalmor as members of the blades. My mother and father were both publically tortured and burned alive in front of the people of Karthwestern, I was still a little girl and I was hiding in the basement that was protected by a stone foundation. My uncle Bolar another member of the blades soon fell to the thalmor after leaving his sword at a shrine of Talos in bloated man grotto I was found by Ainethach the following morning. we were forbidden from giving the 'traitors' a funeral so i took my families ashes and buried them in secret, after that he raised me till I was thirteen when I took an apprenticeship with the vigilants of stendarr. I studied the school of illusion magic and used a regular crossbow and sword and shield techniques from master trainers. This was before I reunited with my darling cousin over there." I said as I nudged Tully who chuckled softly in turn. " Did, you ever get the thalmor who did it?" Tully asked as I shook my head. "No but that aside, I returned to Karthwestern and visited my old home and found my mother's blades armor sword and shield. and as I was there I heard a few Silver-bloods slandering my family and bragging about how they got their rivals out of the way. After that, I swore I'd take vengeance on the thalmor and the Silver-bloods." I said as the group nodded and Ebon-shi placed his hand on my shoulder as we turned in for the night. Severin took point taking up first night watch with his usual partner Salazar at his side. I leaned up against the rocky wall before feeling Tully pull me to lay my head on his lap like he usually did sometimes whenever I was upset even when I was a child whenever he did that it always made me feel at peace. Almost immediately as my head rested on his leg I was out like a light.
(In the morning)
I woke up with the smell of food in my nose I looked down to see a plate of some of Gila's famous meat dishes. I sat up and quickly ate my breakfast before getting dressed to head into Markarth to sell the goods that we had collected before. I had Gila, Yamma, and Tully accompany me not just to watch my back but also to deter anyone stupid enough to try to sneak up behind me. And if someone questioned me wearing blades armor I would simply tell them the same lie I told anyone else who asked that this was an armor set that I stole off of a bandit a few years ago. Once we were ready myself, Gila, Yamma, and Tully went inside Markarth first heading to the trading post across the street of the market but when I noticed a nice young lady selling jewelry and she looked like she was tight for money judging by the ragged clothes she was wearing. On my way through I first gave a couple of gold coins to a beggar around the corner before I walked up and bought all of the jewelry the lady seemed happy with her profit as I walked to the trade post. I knew full well that I would easily make triple back what I just spent on her wares. The woman seemed surprised yet also happy as I noticed a man sneaking up behind a woman across from her. When he pulled out a steel dagger and was about to stab her from behind I shouted loud and firmly. "Ma'am get down!" Just as soon as the woman ducked I fired a silver crossbow bolt into the chest of the man who was about to stab the woman as the man dropped to his knees. I quickly ran up to him before driving my sword through his heart since he obviously didn't have anything of value on him I didn't bother looting his body meanwhile Gila had her bow out, Yamma had his dragonscale shield, and scourge out while of course, my cousin Tully had his hand on the handle of the bloodskal blade on his back. As the city guards rushed over I quickly removed my blades helmet and put on the masque of Clavicus vile to hide my identity. We made our way to the trading post As we entered we saw a nord woman standing at the counter "Welcome friend What can I do for you today?" The nord woman asked as I utilized my 'Silver tongue'. " Oh thank you ma'am, you see I came into such a huge inheritance and I don't know what to do with it all, so I was hoping that the best trading post in the Reach would be interested." I said in a soft yet noble tone I could tell instantly the moment I entered that this shop had seen better days so I could easily haggle this shop into the floor but i was feeling generous as I placed the bag of gems and jewelry. " This place looks like its seen better days ill tell you what, ill invest in this fine business." As i said that the nord woman's eyes widened as a thankful smile stretched across her tired face " Your so generous my lady may i know your name?" I smiled and told her a fake name " I'm Garnet It's my pleasure to invest in a promising place of business." I said handing her a coin purse to expand her range of wares as I bartered the jewelry to her as she asked me if I knew anyone for a bounty to retrieve her Dibella statue. "Hmm, I may have some people in mind, just hand me the bounty and ill get it to them." I said as I snatched this bounty from under the Silver-blood swine's noses. I left the building and then followed the path out of Markarth and back it the hideout with my empty loot pouch with Gila eating a roasted Goat leg. while Yamma and Tully were walking behind me we entered the hideout and I showed them the bounty from the nice lady. "We have to retrieve this woman's statue of dibella from a place called four skull lookout." I said as the group nodded and agreed.
