Spencer couldn't believe she was doing this. Well, she could believe it actually. Ethan Edwards had asked to hang out with her in the middle of the night, obviously she was going to go.

She was quite confused. The boy probably had a phone full of girls to text and a house full of boys to hang out with if he was bored, but he had chosen to hang out with her.

Maybe everyone else was busy.

She had spotted his car quite easily, especially because it was the only car with its headlights on in the car park of the freshmen dorms. Hugging her jumper closer to herself in an attempt to deflect the cold air, Spencer put a little more speed into her walk.

The soft sound of Frank Ocean played in the car as she shut the door behind her. She glanced over at the Edwards boy, who simply just reversed out of the car park without a word.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going? Oh my god, are you kidnapping me?" Spencer asked as she watched Ethan drive further and further away from the campus. The boy shrugged his shoulders, a small smirk playing at his lips.

"Comforting, very comforting." Spencer huffed as she slumped in her seat, watching at the street lights passed. "You worry too much." Ethan retorted.

"I think I worry just the normal amount." Spencer shot back, to which the boy just rolled his eyes playfully. "Was everyone else busy?"

Ethan's face scrunched up in confusion, momentarily taking his eyes off the road in front of him to glance over at the girl in the passenger seat. Spencer, cheeks flamed with embarrassment at her question, avoided eye contact and opted to glancing down at her fidgeting fingers. She had taken her rings off when she thought she was going to sleep, so now her fingers were bare and she had to pick at her nail polish as an anxious tick instead of twirl her jewellery.

"I don't know, I didn't ask." The boys words were truthful. He had no idea why his bored mind had travelled to wondering what the Estapa girl was doing during the early hours of the morning. He knew she wouldn't be sleeping, as it seemed she didn't do much of the activity.
