I've always placed an author's note (or 'not a chapter') in most of my stories.
Now that this is going to be a rewritten (and somewhat different) version of I Can't Forget, an author's note is definitely mandatory.

This book is dedicated to my 2016 self. 2016 may have been your best year, but I'm sure you would still be proud of the person you've become in 2023.
A special shout-out to my readers who happen to stumble upon this book. I know I said that I won't be making new adrienette fanfiction anymore, but I didn't mean that I wouldn't be rewriting them. ;) Let's go through this rollercoaster of emotions again. Together.
