After Party(ON PAUSE)

"We're going to the panel next week, girls."

They were both shocked. It was weird hearing that when they weren't even done fighting yet. What kind of event would they go to before they even made peace? They didn't even get to spend time at a birthday party.
Dani had one question in her mind: Would Stefania bring her lover with her?
"Hey, why are you looking at me like it's the end of the world? Or haven't you made peace?" Everyone was in shock. Dani had even forgotten to invite her friend in.
"Let's go inside, honey."
They all went inside and lined up on the seats. Dani also started to explain.
"Yes, we haven't made up. It doesn't look like we will make up for a long time-" Stef interrupted him.
"Shut up? Aren't we going to make up in soon?"
"You know it's not up to me. It's entirely your decision."
"No it is not. "You're leaving me right now and it's affecting our whole lives."
When they started shouting back at each other, Daniele couldn't stand it anymore and decided to intervene.
"Enough! Both of you sit down and tell me what the hell you're doing."
Dani wanted to explain because she thought she was right.
"After seeing Stef and her boyfriend at the party, I asked her to do something for me. I'm not wrong because I didn't see any sign of love from Stefania. And I told her that she made me feel worthless. I asked her to do something for our relationship or I will leave. Our relationship can't go on like this. I can't wait forever for you to do something. It hurts, and you don't see it. I don't think she ever thought about me. That's why we didn't make up, Daniele, because I wanted to explain that it couldn't go on like this. I need proof."

"Like what proof?"

"I- I want to feel that Stefania cares about me. I want to see her love, but I feel like it's impossible right now. But I can come to the panel and act like a friend."

Stef stood up from her seat.
"I explained to you why I was waiting, didn't I? But you didn't listen to me, and you blamed me. I just wanted to end this properly for both of us."

"That's the problem, Stefania. I'm always waiting. I agreed to wait and at first I didn't see any problem with it. But now, it's been a long time since you made this promise, and besides, was it necessary for you to show such actions? If you think you're giving people the impression that you're leaving, you're wrong because what I've heard says the exact opposite. I- I really don't know."

Dani put her head in her arms and sank to the floor. She didn't say things that were easy to say. Now she had to listen to these again in her mind.
"Okay, I understand the situation. I talked to both of you about this issue, privately. We need to get out of private life a little bit. The season finale of the series is shooting in one day and we are leaving the day after the shooting. You will put this fight aside or find a way to solve it. Because it doesn't work that way. Now, I have a magazine shoot to get to. In the meantime, think about yourself, think about the mistakes you made, but don't shout. You're both very vocal."
Dani hugged her friend and waited for her to leave. She had a question to ask Stefania. She didn't think she could do this without asking.
"Stefania, I have to ask you something."
"I am listening."
"I really don't want to argue right now, but I'll ask anyway. Will he come with you?" Dani was shaking as she asked. She was afraid of the answer.
"It's like we decided on it, I remember that way."
"Yes, you said you couldn't bring him. Then you were going to say you wanted to leave."
"That was our decision."
"So do you still agree?"
"Yes, I won't bring him."
"I understand. I want to go to my room for a while. I need to check my lines."
"Okay, I have to go out to run some errands too."
Dani went to her room and Stef went outside.

They both had to listen to this conversation in their own minds. Not knowing what would happen was scary because this relationship could really end.
