Have a good read 😊

Hey there, folks! Buckle up, 'cause Saiyuri got a story that'll knock your socks off. This ain't your grandma's bedtime tale. Nope, it's just a slice of life, and trust me, it's going to be a long one. So, kick back, relax, and let's dive in. Time is not on my side, you know. I've got a mountain of maths problems to tackle, a plant cell to sketch, vocabulary words to memorize, and a bag to pack. Whew! See, I've got my hands full. And you there, stop yawning!

But before we jump into today's adventure, you're probably wondering about me. Introductions are getting old, though, ever since I landed in this new school. Seems like everyone who walks into our class wants to know who I am. I can spot them from a mile away. It happens with every new student in school, right?! But it's been a month, everyday some or the other teacher comes to our class and the class starts with interrogation with me.

Now, you might think I'm a chatterbox, and you might be right, but not with everyone. My name is Saiyuri Singh Joshi, and I'm rolling with the ninth graders. My partner in crime? Well, that's my Aaba, Shrimant Kamal Singh Joshi. Long names right?! Everyone has such names in our family, may be my ancestors loved such long names. We've recently shifted from Agra to Udaipur, and I'm still trying to decide if it's a thumbs up or down.

So, there was this program after our morning assembly today, the assembly already long, I did not have strength to bear one more program. Early morning Cultural programs and scorching sun, Not a great combo. And don't even get me started on the principal's lectures. I guess teachers love roasting us brown in the heating Sun. So, I pulled the classic "need to use the restroom" move and sneaked into my classroom. Teachers, I swear, they're cut from a different cloth, specifically designed to bug students. And they sent those student council types to snoop around, and these so-called captains, the school's watchdogs, were on the mission.

As I sat there in my hiding spot, heart pounding like a drum, I could hear sound of footsteps drawing closer. It was the moment of truth, and I feared my grand escape had been failed. My brain went into overdrive, crafting excuses faster than a superhero.

Then, as the footsteps neared, the door swung open, and my heart leaped into my throat. A boy, one of those sent to search, stepped inside. Our eyes met briefly, and for a second, I thought my cover was blown. But to my amazement, he merely glanced at me, a mischievous twinkle in his eye, and then exited the room, leaving me breathless and confused. I couldn't believe my luck. He had decided not to report about me.

When he left to inform his fellow students that the classroom was empty, a sense of gratitude mixed with curiosity washed over me. This guy walks in, spots me, and... leaves! Can you believe it? That's like a plot twist in a teen drama. Because, for once teachers might let it go, but those school leader types? They show no mercy. Yet, he let me off the hook. Who was this mysterious boy who spared me from the program police?

Lately, my classmates had been chatting all about love stories, teasing me, saying it'd be tough for someone to love me, what with my "don't even think about talking to me" attitude and my fiery temper. Good or bad, I'm not sure. But really, shouldn't they be focusing on books instead of all this lovey-dovey stuff?

So, there you have it, the start of my rollercoaster of a life. Buckle up; it's going to be a wild ride. And trust me, it's just the beginning. There's something stirring in the air, a feeling like a distant thunderstorm rolling in on a hot summer day. I have a feeling it's going to change everything. So, stay tuned, because this tale is far from over, and it's going to get even more interesting from here.

And hey, just a heads up, there will be many ups and downs in this story. You might love me one day and hate me the next. You might find me cute sometimes and stupid at other times. Heck, you might even want to twist my ears out of anger. But here's the deal, when it comes to my "umbrella boy," I've got the exclusive rights. No one else can say a word about him. That's just for me, at least in my stories. 😉
