A/N: The chapters will be relatively short, as I struggle to write long chapters. There isn't any proper planning for the story, I just write whenever I get an idea. There may be a few mistakes here and there, but it's just a rough writing. The story will only be about 10-15 chapters long.
Hope you enjoy!

Kia was a shy person, his hair as brown as autumn leaves. Kia was a tall person, he was around 5'6. His build was skinny, which made hoodies and jeans hang loosely off his waist. Kia was not well-known in the slightest, nor did he have many friends. He had three friends, and he liked it that way.
Kia was a good grade student, averaging 9's in all subjects. He was too humble to call himself smart, but self aware enough to know he was smarter than an average person. He had a rival, well, a classroom rival. It was a boy named Leon.
Leon was completely opposite to Kia. Leon's clothes clung to him like cling film, he had dirty blonde hair which reminded Kia of a sandy beach. Leon's body looked like he went to the gym everyday, he did not, however. He got that genetic off his mum. He's well-known and everybody loves him. Leon was presented as an extroverted loud jock, where he was a more introverted quiet jock. Leon also had grade 9s, similarly to Kia, however he had a burning feeling, striving him to be number one in class.
These two always argued in class, over who was better, and why they were better. It did not matter if they got the same grade, they always argued over it. This is how they become enemies, or as most book tropes call them "academic rivals". The two boys didn't see themselves as rivals, merely as classmates that did not like each other.
