Brendon Pov

I woke up for work at around 5am. I got up and put my hair in a messy bun, taking a glance at Ryan (who was sleeping) before I went to get ready. I went to the bathroom and took a shower, brushed my teeth, did my skincare, and changed into my outfit for work.

I went to the kitchen and saw that Ryan was awake, cooking me breakfast.

"Hey babe, you should go back to bed...You should rest. You know the big day is coming soon!"

"I know, but let me do something nice for you..I don't think I've been helpful for the last few months.." Ryan said as he put my breakfast on the table. He then went back to pack my lunch.

"Listen it's fine, really I don't mind it. I mean you're carrying our child and that's enough for me.." I say to reassure Ryan, giving him a warm smile while doing so.

"Whatever you say, hun.." Ryan replied, smiling back at me.

I finished up my breakfast and grabbed my lunch. "Thanks so much, babe! I'll see you later, alright?"

"Alright, see ya..Be careful on the subway and in the city..you know how big and busy it always is."

I smile at Ryan. "I will.." I give him a kiss on the cheek as I left. Ryan leaned on the door frame and watched me leave. I walked to the station and got to the train...heading to work at the world trade center.
