Love That Lies Ahead (Raph x Oc)

Chapter 13

Narrator Pov

After the little battle on the icy mountain, the group is already in the city just minutes after Sacks and Shedder make it back into the city. The group runs into the building and split up to find Sacks and Shredder more quickly.

Namari Pov

Me, April, and Vern ran into a laboratory room and duck down as we heard Sacks coming into the room. I sneak behind Sacks before kicking him in the leg and grabbing the mutagen. I was going to run back to April and Vern till Sacks grabbed my hair and pulled me back. I dropped the mutagen on the floor but luckily it didn't break. I turned my attention to Sacks and had a little chat with him before we started to fight for the mutagen. Sacks pushed me and had pulled out a gun and had shot me causing me to yell in pain and fall to the ground and clutch the spot I was shot at. That's when April and Vern finally appeared, Vern had knocked Sacks out with a fire extinguisher and April came to my side after she had grabbed the mutagen.

Narrator Pov

After Vern ties Sacks up, he goes to Namari's aid while April leaves with the mutagen and up to the roof where Shredder and the turtles are fighting. At the roof April causes a distraction which leads to the turtle's chance of taking him down. Vern and Namari feel the building shake which causes Vern to pick up Namari and hurry down the stairs to the front door of the building and leave. While Vern ran out the building holding a wounded Namari he quickly stop as he almost got hit by falling parts of the building, Vern and Namari looked up and saw April and the turtles hanging and falling down. Namari tried to say something but couldn't.

Vern Pov

I watched in horror as April and the turtles were falling at great speeds down to the concrete ground. I could only close my eyes and pray that this was all fake, not wanting to believe that the people I cared about are going to die right there.

Namari Pov

I started crying not just out of pain but out of sadness. We won but at the cost of 5 lives, lives that I care so much about.

Narrator Pov

As everyone thought that April and the turtles would be long dead, they all gasped as the long metal bars that they were hanging on got stuck between the buildings before they had hit the ground. Vern made his way over to April and the turtles cried a little while Namari was crying. Raph pushed his way to Namari and took her out of Vern's arms worried, the others came closer worried for Namari.

Raph Pov

I looked over Namari and saw that she was shot! I looked at Vern and angrily asked him what happened. When he told me what had happened in the building before it had collapsed I was pissed at Sacks and wanted to kill him. That's when I looked up from Namari and saw that Sacks was in handcuffs and was being taken away by police.

Narrator Pov

The people had seen the turtles and surprisingly weren't scared of them, instead they cheered for them and thanked them for saving us and what not. The people of New York had accepted the turtles and Splinter with open arms.

A/n - This was a long awaited chapter that was delayed on top of delayed on top of more delays. I hope y'all like the chapter and to know that this isn't the last chapter and that I will be posting the next chapter maybe on Wednesday or Thursday. And there will be a bounce chapter or chapters but you guys just have to wait and see.
