Dust was rising up from the ground each time your foot met it. A thin cable was reaching your ears, letting the music flow through it, as you kept walking with a little pep to your step.
Guns in your hands had a bit of a crazy time as you were flipping them back and forth, bobbing your head to the rhythm.
It seemed like a nice and peaceful day, just strutting through the street, full of energy and joy. You'd had a few rough days not long ago. Being a mercenary proved not to be easy sometimes, but you always managed to deal with everyone quite smoothly.
The tiring part was chasing those idiots across almost the whole universe. You weren't a chaser as it was, so it wasn't really your cup of tea. But the pay was always good. And how could you ever decline that?
This kind of life was thrilling to you. You never thought or planned to do something else. There never was an idea of what it could potentially be as well. So, this was fine. This was good and convenient.
Pointing your guns in different directions to the melody of 'Another One Bites The Dust' caused a few judging glances from around to be directed at you.
It'd happened quite a lot throughout your life, you weren't exactly the calmest person in the whole universe.
Your attire probably wasn't helping with how much attention you were getting. But you didn't seem to mind as your head was going up and down to the rhythm.
Disgust and annoyance were swirling in the strangers' eyes. It was hard for them to hold back from any possible physical reaction to your actions.
It seemed that something more interesting than you stole their attention when heads whipped in the same direction with eyes full of concern and almost fear. Looking around, you got confused and got rid of one of the earphones.
It didn't take you long to follow their gaze just to be met with a flood of people, running in your direction as they looked terrified. Quickly, everybody else followed suit, dropping everything and grabbing their kids before running away.
Anyone normal would do the same. You weren't very normal tho. It wasn't anything new, but definitely worth mentioning.
Standing in the same spot you'd been ever since hell had broken loose, you let people bump into you as they were running for their lives. A curious look took over your face. Not that anyone could see it through the helmet you were wearing.
The screams were almost unbearable, your eardrums were slowly bleeding to death. Your body was pushing through multiple people in the direction of the chaos. It probably wasn't the smartest move, but it was your move.
