Most would say that hate is a strong word. Jack, however, didn't believe it was strong enough to encapsulate his feelings towards his roommate Eric at this moment.

"You- you're Mitchie?" He asked as he slowly sat down across from the very muscular man he was not expecting to be his 'date'.

The burly man crossed his arms as he avoided eye contact. "Mitchell. Everyone calls me Mitch, my friends call me Mitchie." He finally risked a glance at Jack for barely a second. "That must make you Jackie then, huh?"

Jack was fuming on the inside. Why would Eric do this to him? The level of mortification he felt was indescribable. "Just Jack. Eric's the only one who calls me Jackie, even though he knows how much I dislike it." Now, he was regretting even asking for Eric's help just a few weeks ago...

"So, let me get this straight. You want me to set you up on a few blind dates so you can finally get laid?" Eric was lazily flipping through channels on the TV when Jack plopped down beside him on their couch.

Groaning and putting his face in his hands, Jack replied, "No, don't get it twisted, it's not like that. I actually want a girlfriend, man." Though, he was sure Eric only heard what he wanted to like usual.

Eric simply hummed, his focus never leaving the television set as he continued his search for something to watch. Jack couldn't help but look at him. It wasn't very often he did this, but he could admit to himself it had been a secret habit for a while now. He just couldn't help it, he always thought his friend was attractive.

Jack's eyes took their time taking in Eric's face. Starting with his short but slightly long hair, he couldn't express how many times he'd wanted to tangle his fingers in the soft strands. Sometimes, when they would cuddle on the rare occasion, he'd allow himself to do just that. And sometimes, just out of pure curiosity, he'd pull on them gently to see how Eric would react. Usually, Eric would sigh with contentment, but the last time he did it, Jack received a loud, whiny moan in response. Ever since then, he's had to stop for the sake of his sanity.

His eyes didn't stay long before they were straying to the forehead he'd kissed so many times. He didn't know why he did it or how Eric even got him to do it, but he knew he'd do anything to make the 'boo-boos' feel better. It wasn't long after the first few times of doing so that he found himself secretly loving the smooth expanse of skin, but he'd never tell a soul about that, and he wasn't even willing to fully admit it to himself.

Jack purposefully skipped over his roommate's eyes, knowing that he would be easily caught if their gazes met. A smile made its way onto his face as his sight glanced over Eric's nose. He knew he was a bit odd for even thinking that his nose was so cute, but he couldn't help it. He truly believed everything about Eric was perfect and cute, sue him.

Dropping his gaze down to Eric's lips, Jack captured his own lower lip between his teeth. He always thought Eric had the perfect set of kissers. He's caught him making out with enough girls in their apartment to know if his roommate was a good kisser or not. Jack's tongue darted out to wet his lips as his eyes stayed locked on Eric's mouth. He always wondered what those lips would feel like against his, what they would look like stretched wide and wrapped snugly around his hard, leaking co-

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," Eric mumbled, not even sparing a glance Jack's way. Shame filled him so fast, yet it didn't help the white heat he felt burning through his body. He shifted around slightly, tempted to grab one of the pillows to hold inconspicuously, but ultimately decided against it.

"Yeah, yeah, like I would want a picture of your ugly mug," Jack teased back in almost too gentle of a tone, not really trusting his voice to stay steady. How did wanting a girlfriend turn into a drool-fest over his best friend? That was something Jack decided he didn't want to think about... ever.
