"Shake with me"

Marie is a 16 year old girl, a sophomore, which she makes sure everyone is aware that she should technically belong to the Junior class. Marie is an excellent student and holds a great passion for her band. Marie has an undeniable amount of love for her dog. Holding Lydia every night is a necessity.

Marie's POV:
I wake up to begin my day. I get to sleep in a bit and then walk to the bus stop. I put my AirPods in my ears and soon listen to The Bouncing Souls and later listen to the My little Pony soundtrack.
I sit in the back of the bus admiring the atmosphere. I love these mornings.

I strut through the halls of my school. I text my best friend, Gianna, to come to the hub. I sit beside what I refer to as "Sped bitches" waiting. As I wait, I talk with a teacher who passes by. Ms Burnett. Gianna walks in, chuckling at the sweat mark on the chair. She looks homeless. Gianna sits down and begins yapping. I carefully listen, but we soon head to class and part ways.

I sit in Geometry which is practically light work for me. The rest of the day goes by quickly. I get home and play Minecraft, not for long, as I intend to go visit my mom. When I go downstairs, I greet Lydia and continue to find my mom in the kitchen. My mom makes me food and I bark at her. We make silly noises back and forth and I soon go to my room, making sure Lydia follows.

Gianna calls me at 10, I go to sleep at 10:30 and she knows this. I answer with a bit of a suspect look on my face. "What do you want bitch?"
Gianna has nothing in particular to say so I hang up. I hate her.
I get ready for bed, turning on Reddit stories on TikTok and getting cozy.
I wake up the next morning with shart stains. So inconvenient. I clean up and get to school.

I walk into a crowd. My usual spot in the hub must be closed so I sit in the commons. This is not apart of my routine. I sit and talk to some classmates and tell them about the start of my day which includes a shart. I look around noticing some people I don't like. Gianna walks in and we laugh at them together. I point out an ugly hairdo but she soon points to Mr.Block, he's our favorite. As the school day ends, I hear some teachers chatting about an upcoming assembly. There is an assembly where people will be coming in to discuss various topics. I don't completely understand so I ignore them.

The next few days include work at a swim school and babysitting. Friday, I arrive at school and everyone is directed to the field house. I meet up with Gianna and we watch the students chant.
"ITS ALL ABOUT THE U!"
Soon speakers come up and Gianna and I talk about some controversial topics. Gianna takes a look at the big screen and the look on her face is weirder than usual. Gianna's jaw drops and shouts, "MARIE LOOK!"
There's a drunk guy heading up on stage. The resemblance to MATT SKIBA is uncanny. I realize who is up on stage and listen.
Gianna begins to whisper to me and she gets the hint to shut up.
Matt Skiba is at my school and he appears to be telling a story about a girl named Emma. Security grabs him and escorts him out.
