"Leaving so early?" spoke Rui, working on a particular robot he had been on for days.

Kohane inclined nervously, implying that he was correct. "I-I have somewhere to be..."

"This early?"

"Yes."

"Right now?"

"Mhm..."

A quiet chuckle left Rui's lips. "Ah, I see. Well, I'll get out of your hair. Whatever you're doing, I'm sure the others won't mind—"

"Huh? Who's leaving?!" Miku interposed, bumping into their conversation.

"Dear Kohane. She says that she has somewhere important to be," Rui answered, taking his hands off his robot to focus more on the conversation. Kohane sighed. Here I thought Rui was done talking to me, she thought miserably.

"Oh no no no, Kaito says we shouldn't leave until we find Saki! We don't want you disappearing too!"

"But—"

"No buts! I'm just listening to Kaito!" Miku said, somewhat joyful (as always). It seemed that she really was just going with what Kaito told her and probably didn't even know why.

Kohane looked at Rui for help, which he noticed and turned towards Miku. "Oh Miku, let her leave for a couple minutes. Kohane never goes out like we do. Give her ten minutes and she'll be right back."

T-Ten minutes?! Well...it's better than nothing. Kohane smiled as Miku was slowly changing her mind. Rui gave her a certain look as his eyes darted for the doors. That was her cue to leave. She worded out a thank you and headed off as he was distracting the ping-tailed bundle of joy. She exhaled deeply a sigh of relief as she made it outside of the kingdom. Now...how far is the Light Kingdom and how do I get in...? She wondered before digging in her pocket and pulling out a map. Oh! I've got it!

<White Kingdom (and a lil timeskip)>
"Fatherrrr! Are you blasting your music again?! It's early in the morning!" An cried, busting into her father's room.

"Awwh, don't scold me, An. You do the same thing."

"Yeah but it's only convenient when I do it, you know!"

Her father playfully rolled his eyes. "Mhm, whatever you say. But you have this aura of joy surrounding you. Is something going on?"

An's eyes widened before they sparkled more again. "I'm just as happy as always! I'm just feeling more...hm, I actually don't know!" That was a lie. She remembered that she invited her secret admirer over to her room...but she couldn't just tell her father that. Her father had no opinion on the other kingdoms, yes, but he believes that they are willing to harm An, so what will he think? All An could do is stop herself and make an excuse. Her father rose an eyebrow. "Are you sure?"

"Yes dad! Yesss! Now turn the music down!" An said before quickly leaving. That was close. She went into her room, locking the door before starting to rapidly brush her hair. How embarrassing it would be if the person I loved saw me as a mess...w-where's my dress?! "MIZUKI!!" She called and the known pink haired called back with haste.

"Yessss princess An?~"

"Come to my room! I need your help!"

"Hehe, I would! But your door is locked."

Embarrassed once more, An unlocked her room, dragged Mizuki in to lock it again. "Sorry. Have you seen my dress?"

"Eh? You just woke up! Why do you suddenly need it?!" Mizuki marvelled in surprise at the princess's sudden question.

Fuck. I forgot to tell Mizuki the whole situation. I'm pretty sure they know about...

"Uh, I have a date. Kind of.... With my secret admirer." An said with a visible red blush.

"W-WHA— Are you serious?! You met—"

"Yes! Yes! I met her!"

Mizuki blinked. Then they blinked twice. Maybe even a third time. "Her?" They choked out, more quiet than before; almost a whisper.

"Ah..." An giggled slightly at Mizuki's reaction, "I was surprised too..."

She took another peek at Mizuki's expression. Their eyes were wide open, mouth agape and their whole body seemed to be frozen. Okay maybe not the same reaction. "M-Mizuki! Say something!"

"Right," Mizuki said with the same expression. They blink once and seemed to be back to normal. "Uh...that's surprisingly. Hehe, does that make you lesbian then?"

"I could be bisexual! Don't jinx anything!"

"You can't spell lesbian without An."

"Mizuki!—" An paused, "Wait...wasn't this about a dress? I need to hurry before she shows up!"

Mizuki chuckled. "Don't worry about looking so formal. I don't think it would be necessary. Surely the girl would want you to dress yourself."

"Tomboyish?"

"If that's your style!"

"Mizuki. Pick me an outfit!" An smiled brightly, grabbing Mizuki's hands.

"Uh...about that. I need to see Tsukasa actually," Mizuki smiled back nervously.

"It'll be quick! The day just started! You have all day to talk to him!"

"Oh I guess you're right..." Mizuki sighed in defeat but still kept a smile on their face. "Okay so first off...I would go with—"

"Not a crop top please," An warned them.

"Ugh! I wasn't going to! Don't tell me to pick your outfit if you won't corporate!"

"Hehe, sorry..."

"Eh...at least it's comfortable," An smiled in the mirror that revealed her outfit. Half casual and half fancy...that really was Mizuki's style with An's.

"Glad you like it," Mizuki thanked themself, "When will she be here?"

Oh right. "I don't know. Let me check...c-can you...?"

"Sure sure! I need to talk to Tsukasa anyway! I'll give you two alone time!~" Mizuki smirked before skipping away, ignoring An's flustered reaction.

Sighing, she locked the door behind Mizuki and went to her balcony, where a familiar person stood. "H-Hello!" The person called out. "I thought you were still asleep..."

"Come in!" An smiled.

(A/N: I don't know if my writing style is dry or anything right now but if it is I'm sorry. Having a bad day because I've been feeling useless and I also got body shamed yesterday and can't forget, especially cause it was from one of my friends and my other friend didn't defend me at all. But I can't expect much, I just hope it isn't affecting my writing).
