No escape from the Devil

Kito runs down the hill after his old friend not thinking of the other wolf with him. Kyo stands there trying to see through the mist, Akito behind him looking confused. The snow falls down quickly but steadily as Kito runs through the deep snow with joy. Aidmeer looked over to see Kito's silhouette running towards them. Kito crashes into aidmeer, the snow slashes them like they are in an icy lake. Aidmeer poked his head out of the snow to see Kito sitting down with a pile of snow on his head. "Kito!" shouted Aidmeer as he attacked him in the snow. Kito fell to the ground with Aidmeer on top of him wagging his tail. Kito bit aidmeer's leg and quickly got up. Aidmeer played bows ready to play with kito but, instead of getting another play bow, he got kito to attack the other wolf who was still in the snow. "Hey, stop it!" yelled the wolf as he brushed out of the cold snow. Kito quickly stopped and looked over at aidmeer, "Who is that?!" asked kito while the wolf came out of the deep snow. Aidmeer took a deep breath, and it got quiet. "I think you need to sit down; this is going to seem strange to you." spoke Aidmeer with a nervous voice. Kito sat down and looked at aidmeer's eyes but, they seemed different it was like kito was looking at a stranger's eyes. "Kito this is Crow and he's my-" said Aidmeer before he was cut off by a growl coming from the mist. A silhouette of a wolf was walking towards them with their fur blowing in the winter wind. Kito stood up looking at the silhouette, crow stepped in front of them ready for a fight. Akito appeared from the mist with his eyes focused on crow. Akito's eyes softly glowed in the mist; crow growled stepping slowly forward towards Akito. Kito watched slowly to crow's movements wanting to see what style crow fights. Akito gave a low growl while pacing right and left. Crow ran towards Akito with a growl that pierced the wind. Crow jumped and bit Akito's neck and it seemed the wind was blowing harder than before. Crow let go of Akito showing an act of mercy, Akito began to have a coughing fit, but he kept on looking at Crow with a piercing glare. Another silhouette came out of the mist but, this one was running toward them. Kito walked towards Akito making sure his brother was ok, crow stood there also making sure Akito was ok. "Did you break him?!" said aidmeer with a worried voice. "No, he's fine this mostly happens." answered Kito as Kyo appeared out of the mist and ran towards them. "Is he ok?" asked Kyo as he sniffed Akito in worry. "I'm just fine, who are these guys?" replied Akito as his cough started to fade away. Kyo looks over at aidmeer and Crow, Akito still has his typical glare. "This is Aidmeer the very Alpha who saved my life and his friend Crow." answered Kito as aidmeer smiled. "My name is Aspen just Aidmeer calls me Crow." replied Crow as aidmeer signed. "Well, it's nice to meet you, I'm Kyo and this is my brother Akito." said Kyo as aidmeer titled his head. "I remember you told me Akito is dead." said aidmeer as everything got quiet. "Well, I got better." replied Akito with a serious voice as Kyo and Kito started laughing. Crow had a little bit of a chuckle in a couple of minutes kito got curious and decided to chase a white rabbit that led to a bull moose. "NOO! NOT AGAIN!" shouted aidmeer as Crow suddenly got scared of aidmeer's out of nowhere yelling. Kito barked at the bull moose while of course wagging his tail in glee. The moose stomped his hoof for a warning to kito but, kito just ignored it. "Die moose!" shouted kito with a laugh. As the moose started to attack aidmeer ran in and stabbed the moose with his horns turning the moose into stone. Kito stepped back in shock seeing aidmeer in action like that. Aidmeer looked back at kito and said "Well, are you going to say thank you Aidmeer?" Kito looked at the stone statue of a moose, snow began to fall more and more, and a raven flew overhead only to land on the moose. Kyo realized this brother was gone, but Akito being crazy about birds was talking about crow's nickname. "Thank you Aidmeer." said kito as he slowly wagged his tail. "Now let's get everyone to shelter it's starting to storm up." said Aidmeer with a smile. They walked toward the others and as in the old days, kito walked ahead of aidmeer. Kito was puzzled and full of questions for aidmeer, but he was glad that his friend was back. Crow wagged his tail happy seeing aidmeer back in one piece. Kyo rolled his eyes at Akito and walked over to watch a hawk fly through the storm clouds. The hawk flapped its wings as Akito's eyes twinkled in light, watching as if he had just seen the sky for the first time. Kyo went over to talk to kito about more important things than birds. "Kito, think we need to leave this area." said Kyo, as aidmeer went over to play with Crow. "Why do you and Aidmeer want to leave this area so much?" asked kito as his eyes shined green. "I don't know maybe because there are no other wolves here besides aidmeer and Crow." said kyo as kito avoided looking at kyo. "Maybe we should just stick with Aidmeer. "Said Kito as he looked back at kyo. "I think we should stick together as a family instead of blindly following the alpha who abandoned you." said Kyo as a look of instant regret showed on his face. "We both know about alphas truly abandoning our trust and aidmeer isn't one of them." said kito with his teary eyes. Kito and kyo went to the others. Aidmeer was standing before everyone with a smile on his face. After a couple of hours, they decided to go look for some shelter one the way kito was unlike himself, he was walking behind everyone and ignoring every animal that was nearby. "To victory our base!" said Aidmeer as he stopped and looked at an old mining cave. " Were going to rest there then?" asked kyo as an unkindness of ravens landed in the trees that circled the cave. "When Aid says base he means shelter, so we are going to rest there." whispered Crow as aidmeer played around in the background. Akito went to look at the ravens that were still at the trees and his heart skipped a beat when he saw one raven that was made of flames. The fire raven quietly looked down at Akito and its amber eyes then looked at aidmeer. Akito stood there watching the fire raven's movement until it flew away. Akito looked away to see everyone else had already gone into the cave so, he walked fastly into the cave. "So, you're saying a creature who made some sort of a fantasy camp, threw a dead beaver at your face?" asked kito as he lay down listening to aidmeer's stories. The others had laughed and Akito felt warm and safe like nothing had happened just a year ago. "Well, yes and that creature is named Luna she is a dragon wolf." said Aidmeer as he showed a loving smile that warmed the cave. "The Herbolo wolf sounds like he's like you when I first met you." said kito with a laugh as he wagged his tail on the ground. "What Aid and Herbolo are nothing alike." said Crow as he was sitting right next to aidmeer. "Are you sure? Who both joked and were the pack clown but, now you change into something boring. I guess you were like herbolo." said kito with a laugh as he smiled. "I don't like your sarcasm you little lost river wolf." said aidmeer with a smile. "Well, I don't like your stories you creepy wing thing." said kito as he stood up. "Ok that's it, crow watch my bunny." said aidmeer as he got up and started to chase kito around the cave. Aidmeer chased kito throughout the cave and the others were shouting who they thought was going to win the chase. Crow was rooting for aidmeer of course and the brothers were cheering for kito. "Don't let him get you kito!" shouted Akito with a smile. "Show him what for Aid!" shouted crow as he put his paw next to the dead bunny. Kito ran fast trying to avoid catching him in the chase. Aidmeer was too quick on his paws and yet kito was faster. Aidmeer used a trick up his sleeve and purple sparks appeared on his fur, suddenly aidmeer was in front of kito. Aidmeer pitted him down and howled victoriously, crow howled too in happiness. The next day Akito sneaked out to go bird-watching for the start of his day, the sunrise perked behind the mountain and the snow shined like glitter. Akito saw some deer tracks nearby leading to the meadow nearby. His paws padder in the deep snow as he tries to sniff out some birds. Akito went into the meadow and saw a male deer eating blueberries off a brush. Akito sneaks down and slowly stocks the deer, waiting for the right moment to attack. A noise came from out of nowhere and the buck looked up alert to the noise. The buck then ran for it and Akito ran to follow it. The sound of the snow as he ran and the sound of the wind around him, started to like the place. Akito forces on the deer as he runs while ignoring his own heart problems. Before he realized it, he ran further away from where the shelter was and he was coughing badly. A road appeared in the forest and the buck was on the other side of it, he started to have a coughing fit so, he sat down waiting until it stopped. "Akito! What are you doing?" asked Kyo as he walked toward Akito. Akito kept on coughing it sounded like it got worse. "I'm....hunting. Now, please be quiet." replied Akito as he walked towards the road. Kyo rolled his eyes and muttered, "You know you can't run for a long time." Akito sneaked on the road hoping the buck wouldn't notice him. Suddenly a loud thunder shakes the snowy road and a 1978 Chevy red pickup truck raced down the road. The buck quickly ran away from sight, Akito turned his head to look for the noise. Kyo ran towards the road to save Akito from such a creature but, it was too late, it was way too fast. Akito's coughs faded away as a flock of birds flew into the winter sky.
