As Happy As Can Be

The Smiling Face

Rose parked the car and left to walk for about 5 kilometres. She had also stolen his debit and credit card from the car so she had enough money to buy a cheap apartment. She walked into her new apartment and basically just contemplated what had just happened "I'm free. I just fucking escaped that hell hole... Well colour me damn impressed" she walked over to a desk and saw a smiling face with a circle around it which made her come to the realisation that ,if not careful, she could easily get found. As such, she needed a way to hide herself and this had given her an idea. She grabbed a block of wood and cut it into a smaller square. She then made a large dent big enough to hide her face. Next, she cut the other side to follow the dent which made it a mask. She coloured it completely white and thought about what design to put on the mask. She looked at the smiling face and ended up putting that onto the mask. She put on the mask and looked at herself in the mirror- "right"

First, she changed her clothes. Then she looked at the mirror "Damn. That's not too bad. It'll do..." She needed a new name. What to call- "Happy. It'll be Happy. Ok it's shite but ya know. It's fineeee"

Really, she needed to figure out what she could do around here. She was in a small town ,still in Lancashire. She didn't really need to worry about money due to the amount of money that the leader of the lab got. It would be helpful to look around and find some people that could possibly help.

She left the apartment and continued to walk around for a bit but eventually ran into full on ruins. Someone ran up to Happy and warned her about what was happening in the ruins. "Hey, I wouldn't recommend ya go there."

"Why not?"

"There's two people fighting with stupid magic and stuff."

"I'll be fine mate."

"You ain't got a clue."

"I probably do. Trust me"

"Alright I guess." The person walked away as Happy walked into the ruins and almost got hit across the head by a flying rock. She looked over and saw a figure fighting another figure while they were desperately attempting to kill one another. She saw one figure rush over to her so she quickly moved out of the way, leading the figure to shout "WHAT THE FU-" until he hit a wall.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" the other figure ran over to Happy as she looked over in confusion. "JUST CAUSE YOU GOT A MASK DON'T MAKE YOU NO HERO"

"I'd like you to know. I'm not bothered."

"WHY THE FUCK YOU EVEN HERE?"

"Cause stuff going on here." The woman got thrown away as the man that darted at Happy and tried to take a swing at her. She closed her eyes but ,when she opened them, she saw chains of a pink-ish colour keeping him back. Both of the others seeming perplexed. "Huh."

"What. The hell?" The other woman walked over to Happy with a confused face "You're... Special." The man ,in a state of confusion and stress as well as a fear of Happy beating him up , fled. "Follow me. I have something I can do for ya."

"Aight" Happy followed the strange woman into a seeming base of hers...
