Crystal Calling ( A Dark Deception fan story)

The Meeting

It was as always a rather lonely day at the Diamond Castle and Victor had just finished doing whatever he was doing in his secret laboratory and was now sitting in his throne in the throne room of this beautiful yet lonely castle. He'd eventually get lost in his own thoughts thinking about many things, mostly he's thinking about how he can get Malak's attention. Soon enough however, Ryan, Victor's younger brother, walks in to the throne room to see how he's doing. "Hey Vic! Haven't seen you around lately, are you doing okay?", Ryan questions as he walked up to Victor who snapped out of his deep thinking state. Victor would slowly look at Ryan, giving him a little nod. "Yes I am doing fine. My apologies for not being around lately. I have been trying to think about a way on how we can get Malak's attention again... I want to-", Victor gets interrupted by Ryan "Hush! You're stressing yourself out Vic. We both know that there's no point in trying..." Ryan says in a rather soft tone, not wanting to make his brother angry. Victor on the other hand, was not happy to hear that. "Says you. I'm the only one who's trying to do something here! Hell, all the other monsters see us as misfits, as a JOKE. Do you really think that we are a JOKE?!", Victor gets up from his throne and walks towards Ryan, looking him dead in the eyes. "Leave now before you make me any angrier.", Victor threatens Ryan with a light yet deep growl. Ryan sighs and gave a nod, silently leaving the room again.

Hours pass, and out of the blue a portal opens in the throne room. Victor was on high alert, not knowing who could step out of there. To his surprise, it was his boss, Malak. Victor stands straight of course shocked and surprise of the sudden visit of Malak. "Lord Malak, it is strange to see you here. What is the occassion...?", Victor would carefully ask. Malak closed the portal, now speaking to Victor "I have a job for you, this'll also be your one and ONLY chance to make it up to me. There's this mortal girl, she somehow managed to get all the ring pieces. I trapped her and get all the ring pieces back. I managed to cut her contact to Bierce so she won't be a problem anymore. I'll make sure this mortal ends up here and I want you terrible excuses of Watchers to finish her for good. You understand that?", Malak was being serious and Victor was quite in shock yet somewhere glad to know that they get this chance. "I understand, Lord Malak. I'll inform the other Diamonds and we will get this job done, I promise you.", Victor promises as he nods to Malak. "You better or you will perish.", Malak speaks in an angry tone. Without saying anything else, Malak leaves the castle. Victor had to gather himself for a moment, before he would summon all the other Diamonds to the throne room.

A few minutes later, the other Diamonds arrive one by one. First one to arrive was Armaros, a tall fallen angel with pretty ginger hair. "For whatever reason you summoned all of us, I hope it's damn important.",  Armaros crosses his arms. Next to arrive were Ryan and William, the very sweet couple of this castle. They just wave and don't say word. Then, Athan arrived carrying Henrietta in his arms. "Hi Vic!", Henrietta cheers, whereas Athan rolled his eyes, not being happy to be here at all. Lastly Cordelia and the angel Odile arrive. Cordelia immediately goes to stand by Victor's side, as she's his partner and likes to show that quite a lot. "What is it you brought us in here Victor?", Odile questions, tilting her head to the side. Victor once again gathered himself before he speaks. "I know that this will sound very unlikely, but Malak visited just a few moments ago. He has given us the task to stop a mortal girl and to finish her off for good. This will be our only chance to make it up to Malak, so DON'T mess this up.", Victor announces to the others. Of course, they all are pretty much shocked at the news, except for Armaros who had an evil smile on his face. "Oh this'll be fun~" Armaros comments and starts walking out of the room. "I'll go and get ready, you should too guys~!" Armaros says as he completely leaves. Each Diamond would leave one by one, until Odile was only left with Victor. "I shall watch for now... I very much dislike hunting these poor souls down..." Odile would speaks to Victor in a soft tone. Victor rolls his eyes. "Of course you're not... Fine. Do whatever you think will help us. Now leave my sight." Victor sends Odile out. Odile took a deep breath and went out of the room. Victor would turn and look out of the window, waiting. "Now it's only a matter of time... We will get this done and get the respect back we have always deserved. This mortal will not stand a chance against us... Not without the ring pieces in her hands." Victor talks to himself as the time slowly passes by until the mortal arrives.

Outside the castle,  yet another portal opens, and said mortal gets thrown into this realm. She gets up quickly and tries to escape through the portal, but it was gone in an blink of an eye. "No... nononononono!" she would yell out. "This is where you will meet your end, Maisy." Malak's voice rang through her mind, shaking her head violently from side to side. The mortal, Maisy, was now in the Diamonds realm, and as soon as she looked at the castle... she knew: 

The Crystals are Calling.
