Rhea's POV ~
"Hey Rhea, were you okay today? You looked a little off and it's not like you. Is everything okay?" My best friend finally confronted me after she had finished her shift at work. "Yeah i'm fine." I lied. I knew she would see through it straight away. I don't even know why i bothered. "Well you're obviously not, come on i'm taking you home!" She almost shouted.
"But i'm not-" "I don't care, come on!"
It's been a very long day at work and the last thing i need right now is to think about this some more.
"Ellie please, I don't wanna talk i just wanna go to bed." I say half asleep and yawning. "You can go to bed after you tell me what's going on." She says, pulling me into the car and putting my seat belt on for me.
I groaned.
She started up the car and popped in my favorite CD with all my favorite songs she had put on a CD for me when we were a little younger. Ellie was really good with technology. She knew how to rip songs onto CD's and how to create websites and probably knew a way to hack into Facebook or whatever. On the other hand, i don't even know how to listen to the songs on my phone.
Soon enough, we were parked up in the driveway.
"You know, you've probably just got me sacked for that." i said sleepily.
She ignored me and walked into our apartment.
"What's up with you? You haven't spoke to me all day, you haven't even came and had lunch with me. Something's wrong and i'm not letting it sli-" "I've been getting these messages off this guy and i don't know if it's real or not." I cut her off. She looked at me seriously. "Do you think it could be-" "I don't know." I cut her off again. "Let me see the messages."
I gave her my phone, and watched her facial expression as she read the messages.
"It's not him." She said simply. "How do you know?" I asked in confusion. "Because i know the way he used to text and that's not it. He used to spell everything wrong in his messages too, and look at this," She pointed to the phone screen and showed me. "Nearly all the words are spelt perfectly. This isn't him. It's probably just someone at work trying to mess with you. Don't worry about it, okay?" She said hugging me. "Now just go to sleep, i wont be back until about 2am, i'm meeting someone." I smirked and cocked an eyebrow at her. "No! It's not like that!" She laughed. "It's business! I swear!" "Sure it is." I winked at her as she opened the front door. She gave me a death glare as she left and with that, she was gone.
I unlocked my phone and re-read over all the messages, every one making me feel sicker and sicker every time. Whoever this was was sick to mess with me like this after what happened to us.
I laid down and basically threw my phone onto the bedside table. I wanted nothing to do with anyone anymore. People are sick.
Sick, sick, sick
I closed my eyes and started to drift off to sleep.

*Beeeeeeep*
I groan and sleepily threw my hand out and grabbed my phone and unlocked the screen. I looked in horror.
1 Unread Message.
Hey babygirl,
you look really cozy in that bed of yours, maybe i should join you? xx
I looked at the screen in disbelief, and then at the window. He was joking right? I mean it's 11pm at night, a lot of people are asleep, he could have just guessed. I decided to reply.
Stop texting me, and stop trying to scare me. It's 11pm at night i'm not stupid, it's just a lucky guess that i'm in bed.
I waited a while, holding my phone and staring at the screen like a mad woman.
*Beeeeeeep*
I jumped at the noise, even though i was expecting it.
You wish babe. I'm watching you sweetheart, we'll be together very soon.
My heart started racing. What if this isn't a joke? What if that guy's being serious?
I jumped out of bed and started running towards the door, but before i could get out i felt strong arms wrap round my waist, and pull me backwards into a hard chest. A sharp pain pierced into my arm, and i could feel the liquid slowly flowing into my blood. I tried to fight and keep my eyes open but darkness soon swept over me...
