"Useless people!" The Principal bellowed as he entered the class. "You have just a week left to prepare for your promotional exams yet you are here making useless noise. Look, let this be the last time this class is reported to me today or else...", He snorted and continued " you would all get to you various homes and wouldn't be recognized by your parents."
"Useless people!", He repeated and stormed out of the class.
For a minute, the class was pin - drop silent but no sooner had this happened than the noise started again. First, it started as murmurs from different set of girls and the vibration of the males' deep voices that they tried to keep in whispers and soon the class was in total chaos again.
Ameerah got frustrated with this and decided to step out of the class.
Maybe I should just go and revise in the toilet, she thought. She hissed and said aloud, "God should forgive me of the sin I've committed to have given me this type of classmates."
Inside one of the restrooms, she sat on the seat of the bowl and placed her book on her laps.
However, no matter how much she tried to concentrate, she couldn't. She would read few lines but soon forgot.
The reason is that she couldn't get someone out of her head. Someone she met just a day before, she didn't even know his name but she was sure of seeing him again. Infact, she prayed to see him again.
Meanwhile, one part of her prayed while the other knew that it wasn't right to have that kind of prayer in mind.
But she still longed to see him that she couldn't concentrate while trying to study.
