The bell rang. I opened the door. "Where were you?" I asked. She didn't reply. Maybe it was her time to give me the silent treatment. "Where were you?" I asked her again. "I don't think you'll care even if I say." She replied back. I couldn't say anything. She went to our shared bedroom and closed the door. I didn't try to make her speak that day.
