Author POV
Taehyung turned to look at Namjoon who was looking at him with teary eyes hoping that he would believe him.
"So Jimin is the one that told you to leave me, correct " The alpha said walking towards the omega and standing in front of him in an intimidating posture as if daring him to lie.
"Y-yes alpha but it was not entirely his fault , I-I left on m-my own" Namjoon said cowering at Taehyung's scent started to get bitter.
"So you wanted to leave me and Jimin just gave you a little push to go through with it" Taehyung went behind the omega and placed his hands on the omegas tensed shoulders and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Continue Joonie, I'm waiting" Taehyung said in a terrifying deep voice that made Namjoon whimper but he was glad that the alpha wasn't using pheromones on him or else he wouldn't be able to utter a word.
"I-I was afraid that if you found out about m-me and Jackson, you wouldn't love me anymore, you'd hate me and punish me" the omega said waiting for the alpha to say something but Taehyung kept quiet as he moved from behind Namjoon and went to light up a cigar and motioned for Namjoon to carry on.
"Remember that time when you were about to get kicked out from the Kim family mansion, company and your name erased from the Kim family tree?"
Taehyung frowned and nodded.
"Well I couldn't bare to see you lose your family and position because of me, so- so I went to Jimin for help. I asked him how I could help you and he told me a solution"
Flashback Narration
Namjoon had been waiting for Jimin in the cafe for more than twenty minutes now , and he thought maybe the other omega wasn't coming.
He was about to stand up and leave when the doorbell chimed and Jimin waltzed in fashionably late, Jimin had always made Namjoon feel inferior to him.
Making subtle remarks about how he should lose weight, the standard height for an omega, being graceful, proper etiquette and what not.
"Hey Namjoon so what is it that you called me here for ?" Jimin said snapping his fingers for a waiter.
Namjoon was about to start talking when the waiter walked over and Jimin held out his finger to the younger omega motioning him to keep quiet as he ordered a latte with skim milk.
(A/n : in my defense I have never been in a cafe before, hell my uncle would just order coffee for me from McDs and it was great .)
"So you were saying " Jimin said as he took off his Chanel sunglasses placing them on the table gently.
"I'm worried about Taehyung , although he told me he doesn't care about being the Kim heir I know he's hurting deep inside hyung and I wanna help him" Namjoon said tearing up at how the alpha had chosen him instead of his family and wealth.
Jimin chuckled at Namjoon, and the younger face contoured in confusion as he stared at the other omega that only looked more beautiful with a smile on his face. Truly a beauty worth of being praised by nations.
But little did Namjoon know that Jimin was laughing at his simple and naive mind.
"My god Namjoon you're such a simpleton" Jimin said as the waiter placed his order on the table and leaving the two.
Namjoon only frowned at what Jimin said because he knew he couldn't refute the words as they were the truth.
" How do you think you'd be able to help Taehyung huh, right now the thing Taehyung needs are connections and investments funds so he could start his own company if the family head doesn't really intend to take him back. And last time I checked Namjoon you were a nobody without any influential connections or at least a heap of gold stashed up somewhere so you could help Taehyung, Or am I lying" Jimin said as took a sip of latte as he watched in amusement as Namjoons tears seemed to double but the other was clearly holding back his sobs.
"I-I know I don't have anything hyung(sniff) but I want to help him,I was thinking that maybe you and the rest of the guys could help Taehyung for the start up funds he needs then he'll pay you all back when his business starts making profit, I saw his business plan yesterday hyung I swear he won't disappointed you" Namjoon said in a low tone almost begging Jimin to help his alpha.
"Wow Joonie, how can you be dumb, running faster than your alpha"
Namjoon frowned again in confusion as he wiped his tears, it wasn't easy talking to Jimin.
"(Sigh) what I mean is that Taehyung hasn't contacted me or anyone from our circle for help which means that he's confident in himself and he'll reach out to us if he needed help, and by no doubt we'll all help him expecting nothing in return because thats how our relationship work. So you going behind your alphas back asking for help from his friends shows that you don't have confidence in your alpha at all. You doing this would hurt his pride and I'm sure he won't like it one bit even if its you"
Namjoon understood what Jimin was telling him but he did have confidence in Taehyung, he just didnt want the alpha to suffer when he was the main reason for it , he couldn't bear it after last night when the alpha was drunk and talked about how he had lost everything. Namjoon had felt his heart breaking at the drunk talk, he wanted Taehyung back at the top where he deserved to be and he was hindering his success. It was then that Namjoon thought of leaving, maybe if he left Taehyung and went somewhere where he couldn't find him as the alpha was possessive. Then the elders would arrange a suitable omega of high status for Taehyung to marry and live happily.
And then Jimin said it
"Or you could just leave and I'm sure the family will accept their heir back seeing that they only tossed him aside because they didn't agree of his relationship with you but hey what do I know " Jimin said shrugging his shoulders as if he didnt stab Namjoon with his words.
Flashback Narration ends
"Interesting " the Alpha said taking a puff and leaning back in his chair digesting the information poured into his brain by Namjoon.
Taehyung POV
'Is Namjoon really telling the truth about Jimin? I mean yes there were times when Chim was sassy and shit but he never went past snarky comments. Jimin knows how much I love Namjoon.' I say to myself as I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that one of my closest friend and confident actually had the guts to tell MY OMEGA to leave me.
I clench my hand in thought and I look at Namjoons eyes as he cries pearls, although I love him to death I won't just forget about his betrayal and misdeeds. I want him to repent and never repeat anything of the sort in the future.
"You can go back to the bedroom and sleep, we'll continue the discussion tomorrow" I say to him as he opens his mouth but closes it seeming to want to say something but in the end he just shows his neck in submission and head out of the room.
