Chapter 12

Mira's POV:
Me and Aesira have been talk for hours while we fed each other. I think it's 3:00 am at this point.

We also may have exchanged a few kisses here and there.

We decided it was time we'd head back so we packed up everything and Aesira flew us to our dorm.

"Man, I had fun." Aesira chuckled with a grin on her face.

"Let's get dressed and get ready for bed hm?" I asked her. She nodded and we took out some clothes for us.

"Dang it... I don't have any tops." I said with a quiet grumble.

"You can have one of my hoodies." Aesira said. I walked over to her.

"Really?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"Of course. Now choose one." She said looking in her closet and taking out her hoodies.

I picked one that caught my eye.

It has a skull but was giant. I picked it along with some shorts.

The hoodie:

I changed in the bathroom while Aesira changed in the room.

I got out of the bathroom and I looked at Aesira's outfit as she looked at mine.

Aesira's outfit:

"You look great!" We said at the same time.

We chuckled together as we sat down on the couch.

"So do you wanna watch a movie or head to bed?" Aesira asked me.

"Bed, please." I said tiredly.

"Alright, Onto my bed we go." Aesira said as she pulled me to her bed gently.

We got comfortable and snuggled each other until we fell asleep .

Next morning . . .

Aesira's POV:

I woke up to the sun blinding my eyes.

Man, why's it always gotta be so bright?

I felt something holding onto me so I looked down.

I smiled when I saw Mira snuggled into me like a toddler with their toy.

I tried to get up but failed.

Mira was holding onto me very tightly. How the fuck is she so freakishly strong?

"Guess I'll have to do this the hard way.." I whispered to myself.

I moved Mira so my back. I slowly got up as Mira clinged to me.

I'm way too tired to be cooking breakfast so I decided to order breakfast.

I filled in the order and decided to read the book my mother gave me.

I grabbed it from the closet and sat on my bed.

Mira suddenly shifted her body to my front.

I smiled and patted her head gently.

She clenched onto me tighter and nuzzled her face into my neck.

I smiled wider and began reading.

I came across the letter.

I smiled sadly at it and was about to turn the page when something fell out.

I looked down and saw a necklace.

The necklace:

"Huh..?" I muttered quietly.

I slowly picked it up and examined the crystal.

My eyes widened, this was a blood crystal.

It was used to make demons stronger and faster.

Yet they became extinct and extremely hard to find.

I locked it around my neck and continued to read.

Few minutes later...

Mira began stirring in her sleep. I stared down at her as she slowly opened her eyes.

"Hello my Saeyknb." I said with a smile and a kiss on her forehead. (Darling)

Mira smiled and responded with a slight stretch. "What does that mean?" She asked tiredly.

"It's darling in demon language." I said.

A knock was heard on the door.

"I'm guessing that's our breakfast." I said picking Mira up and shifted her on my back.

I opened the door and took a look at the delivery man.

He handed me the bag with the drinks as I passed him the money.

He left then I shut the door.

"What'd you get?" Asked Mira from behind me.

"Breakfast sandwiches." I responded. I lifted the sandwiches out of the bags and handed her a sandwich and a cup of coffee.

"Cool necklace." Mira said while chewing on her sandwich.

"Thanks. My biological father left it for me." I said. Mira knew about my situation and so did Alex. Her eyes widened.
