Chapter 8: A Normal Day?

Draculaura was sitting in class nervous, even though there were no tests, she had no late homework, she wasn't in trouble. she was nervous because of that voice. she dreaded that voice, the same voice that controlled her and made her attack Clawdeen and Frankie. before she knew it the bell rang, she packed her stuff up and walked out of the classroom, she saw Clawdeen and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. 

Clawdeen: you okay Dracy? you seemed nervous, tell me the truth

Draculaura: I'm just worried that, the voice will come back

Clawdeen: cheer up, I'm here and you still got that speech with Clawd

oh right, the speech. Draculaura was terrified, she could kill Clawd, she couldn't, she had to be stronger than her instincts. she had to. Clawdeen held her hand as they walked outside, they passed by the spot where Draculaura... oh Fang, the memories of that night flashed through her mind, snapping at Frankie, losing control and almost biting Clawdeen's neck. they walked to the Coffin Bean where they found Clawd stomping his foot impatiently

Clawd: There You Are! What Took You So Long?

Clawdeen: sorry bro, my bad, I needed to have a chat with her

Clawd: well she's your ghoulfriend, so that's fine I guess

Draculaura: Wait! You Know Me And Clawdeen Are A Thing?

Clawd: yeah, she tells me everything

Draculaura glared at Clawdeen

Clawdeen: it would have been worse if he found out himself

she had a point there. the vampire sighed and kissed Clawdeen again

Draculaura: alright, lets work on our speech, mind if Clawdeen joins us?

Clawd: sure

2 HOURS LATER

Clawd: almost done, we just need a conclusion about how Feral and Civil Monsters started a war

Draculaura: how about... so based on all our evidence, Feral monsters are to blame, they decided to not become civil and are still killing humans and other monsters to this day!

Clawd: Love It! we are so ready for tonight!

Draculaura: yeah.. how long again?

Clawd: what the presatation or until we have to go? because we have about 6 papers so maybe 2 hours, and until we go.. about 1 hour, why?

Draculaura began sweating a little

Draculaura: No Reason! just curious

Clawd shrugged 

Clawd: alright, I'm gonna go play Casketball, sis you coming?

Clawdeen: I'm good!

Clawd: alright

he leaves and Clawdeen places her paw over Draculaura's hand

Clawdeen: take deep breaths, It's gonna be okay

Draculaura: *sigh* you better be right...

Clawdeen: I'm scared to a bit

Draculaura: really?

Clawdeen: yeah, I was scared when you tried to hurt me, but my love over powered my fear, because I knew you were fighting in there, I knew you were stronger. from the day I met you I loved you, you're a beautiful, loving, kind, smart, vampire. I hope you never change, but you need to control yourself, please, promise you will, for me?

Draculaura sniffled 

Draculaura: yeah.. I promise, I love you

Clawdeen: I love you too
