Garden of mystery

First day

So I wake up to the sound of screaming I roll over turn my alarm off and walk to the bathroom to wash up. I get out get my clothes on and drive over to Morgan's. I walk up to her door and walk in to see if she's ready. She comes running out of the bathroom with her school stuff and sees me then tells me we gotta go now! So we run out the door and take the beautiful autumn tree road to school. We make it to school and I parked. Me and Morgan were sitting in my car waiting for time to go into the school building. When we see a familiar car pull in. It was Hunter but he was with Jenna and I was shocked Hillgovia is the place for mythical creatures only. Did Hunter sneak her in here or something? Anyway me and Morgan start talking about something and the windows were down so we can hear what's going outside in the parking lot. As we were talking I was cut off with two people yelling at each other. We both look over to see it was Hunter and Jenna. We both are confused so we listen.
Jenna: WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU HUNTER!
Hunter: WTF DID I DO THIS TIME JENNA?!
Jenna: OH DONT ACT ALL INNOCENT YK WHAT EXACTLY WHAT YOU FUCKING DID. CHEATING ON ME LOW BLOW MAN WERE OVER!
Hunter: I DIDNT CHEAT ON YOU BUT WHATEVER!
Me and Morgan look at each other in shock. I roll up my windows and we head up to the school. Me and Morgan had 3 classes together. We had first hour together so we walk to our class which was study of magic. I forgot that A. Hunter was in there and B. We got a seating chart today. So me and Morgan walk in and see sticky notes on the desks that have our names on it. Lucky me I sit in the back row and on the right side of yep you guessed it hunter. Morgan didn't sit nowhere near me which was sad cause I don't have anyone to talk to. It was the beginning of class I sit down and sit and wait for the teacher to get in class. When hunter walks in and it looks like he has been crying. He sits in his spot and I don't even dare to look over at him. After a few minutes the teacher walks in and tells us what we're doing.
Teach: We're going to be doing projects on what you did this summer. I will be assigning you guys partners. Both of you are making a slide and sharing it with your partner. Both of you are going to make two slides a piece not including the title slide. Jaden Hunter you two will be partners.
After she chose the rest of the partners cause I'm lazy to make more characters.
After our teacher got done picking partners she told us to get to work. I turn over and face hunter.
J: Hey do you want me to create the slide or do you want to make it?
H: I will make it. Thanks for offering tho.
J: Hey are you ok hunter?
H: Can we talk about this later please I'm not in the mood. Meet me at my house after school.
J: Ok meet you there. He-
School bell rings
J: dammit
M: Hey Jaden how do you feel about your partner.
J: Idk he's really upset about the break up he's eyes looks like he's been crying. He told me to meet him at his house after school so we can work on the project and I'm going to try to cheer him up. If Justin didn't beat me too it.
M: Ur so sweet you know that. You must care a lot about hunter to go out of your way to cheer him up.
J: Girl stop. I know sniff sniff (Gotta have those fake water works)
M: Stop with those fake water works.
After school cause I'm lazy
I drive Morgan home and call my dad and tell him I'm going to Justins to work on my project and he says ok. After dropping Morgan off I head off to Justin's house with my music blasting as usual. I turn it down before getting to Justin's driveway. I roll up my windows and get out of my car. I walk up to the door and knock on the door. Cause I don't want to type in the code and intrude. Hunter opens the door and lets me in.
Justin: Hey Jaden what are you doing here?
H: She's here for a school project dad.
Justin: Ok.
Hunter tells me to follow him and he shows me to his room. I follow him into his room and he tells me to shut the door behind me. I shut the door and ask him what's wrong.
H: Jaden why do you care.
J: Cause I wanna know. I can't work with someone that's upset. I wanna help. I know we barley talk to each but you need a friend right now.
I seen a tear roll down Hunters face. I went to go hug him but he pushed me away. I sat there and I got up and told him I'm going to go get my chrome book from my car. I get up and I was about to leave when I hear a don't go stay. I turn around and walk back to the bed and sit next to Hunter.
J: Do you wanna talk about it? If your comfortable.
H: Long story short my gf broke up with me. She thought I was cheating on her but I wasn't. I would never do that.
J: Oh Hunter that's awful. I can't believe she did that to you. You never really know someone true colors until they really show you them.
H: We did have some fights when we were together. But never this bad.
J: Now I'm not a expert at dating but couples that fight a lot might not be right for each other. Yeah some couples fight but they make up. By the way u say how you guys fight it's not a kiss and make up its one of you mad the next day.
H: Yk ur right about that.
J: 95% of the time I'm right.
H: mmm I don't know about that. I don't evidence to back u up.
J: Oh shut Hunter.
We both giggle.
H: Hey thanks for cheering me up.
J: No problem. That's what I'm here for.
H: Hey umm wanna ditch our project and finish it later and watch a movie?
J: Omg yes we should watch the Sinister 2! That movies so good.
H: I have never seen is it like a horror movie?
J:Yes but I don't find it scary after how many times I have watched it. But the first time I seen the movie it did scare me at some parts.
H: Ok I will turn it on.
Hunter turns on the movie. It was the beginning of the movie and it was the first time the ghost big guy showed up and it was a jumpscare. I feel hunter jump. I look over at him and he looked at me and told me he was ok.
