"Just make sure you bag that shit up right. I don't need niggas bitching to me right now." Kay said grabbing his duffle bag from the coat closet by the entrance of our shared apartment. "You know I been tryna chill with crashing out on niggas, my heart."

Amoi nodded her head as some form of response, her attitude making itself known by the frown she held. "I don't know what you're mad for, I told you I forgot."

That was her issue. Kay knew exactly why she was angry. Today was special to her as it should be for him and he didn't even care to acknowledge it.

Today made 3 years Kay and Amoi have been together. Anniversaries were always a big thing for her. She celebrated pretty much anything she could.

She and Kay had been through a lot together throughout their relationship. Which made today extremely special and she wanted to spend it with him. But of course, the studio and being with his homies were way more important to him.

"Bye Kevin, I really don't care anymore. Go where you want," she replied, really not wanting to engage in a conversation that would only make her want to slap him across the face even more.

She stood at their counter trying to decide whether she wanted to sleep the day away or treat herself to a self-care day as she placed the drugs inside the small clear zip-lock baggies scattered over the counter.

"Ight I'm out," he said transferring his attention from his phone to her. She simply shrugged her shoulders.  A few moments of silence went by before Kay said "Ride with me real quick."

"We won't be there long. Just throw some cute shit on and don't take long." He demanded. She harshly rolled her eyes as she pushed past him and up the stairs to their bedroom.

Amoi eventually came back down, sporting an all-black outfit. She wore a black mini skirt and cropped t-shirt, a black tote bag, and some black and white Rick Owen sneakers. Of course, her hair was flawless with a black 40-inch lacefront flowing down the small of her back.

"That little ass skirt, go take that shit off," Kay growled eyeing her up and down.

"Boy fuck you. Let's go." she responded before sliding on her shades and strutting out their front door.
