Jimin does not consider himself to be particularly intelligent. Just smart enough not to talk nonsense or make unwise comments. He is someone of instinct, of feeling. So when his whole being screams at him not to do something, he chooses to obey. Even if there is no logical answer for it. It has worked quite well.
It saved him from being poisoned to death at the age of twelve, a rival house that wanted to hurt the Park's. What better than to end up with the light in his eyes? It also saved him from being trafficked to England. A charming man who almost kidnapped him. Just like those, there are other stories and...
The truth is different now. His feeling and his brain are going in two different directions and without allowing himself to run. His mind tells him to run, to try to get home to his family because there is something very wrong with this place. However, his feelings compel him to stay with Jungkook.
He wants to know more about the exiled and still young lord. The heir and possible emperor of Korea and England. He wants to find out how much more is in his mind, how many rumors were true and what forces him to be in this house alone with his two cousins and Jin. So strange and mysterious that he disappears for days.
His attitude is the direct fault of his childishness. Jungkook treats him well, except for that one bite. He talks to him beautifully, seduces him so elegantly and hypnotically that who wouldn't fall for him? What man wouldn't have fallen for him upon seeing or hearing him.
Maybe not many, because Jungkook knows how beautiful and ethereal he is, he prevents others from knowing his fantastic perfection. Jimin believes he could conquer the world if he wanted to. Anyone would do his bidding without a moment's hesitation.
So would he. Except that he has never been good at pleasing others unconditionally.
"Jimin" turns his head towards him. The heavy, well-made eonjun meori making him look simply stately. Accompanied by the warm colored hanbok. "Do you want to take a walk in the garden? Hosook made lots of new flowers yesterday. Maybe there are some new birds to see."
Jimin smiles broadly and nods excitedly, the dwikkoji in his hairdo tinkling. He stands up and takes Jungkook's arm to start walking. Jungkook doesn't say much. Indifferent to what is being done, he is very quiet and prefers to observe everything.
Hosook mentioned: "My cousin is very shy and very introverted."
"The garden at my house is almost as big" Jimin comments once they are outside and in the sun. Not far away he sees Hosook and Taehyung talking, with the redhead very eager to chatter. As usual, under her umbrella, "but it doesn't have nearly as many plants. Your cousin is a good gardener, my lord."
"That's what happens when you can manipulate plants with your mind." Jungkook mentions without giving much detail.
Jimin has noticed that: all three of them have a kind of quality. Yoonji sounds like instruments and her playing some melody, it's as if an angel or a divinity is the one caressing the keys of that piano, strumming the strings of that harp or blowing that flute.
Hosook is indiscreet and happy to grow vegetation in her favorite places. Some pillars near her and Taehyung's room, in the chapel on the west side of the dwelling, the whole garden, the entrance of the house...
Of Jungkook, he is not quite sure. Beyond his grunts, strange reflexes and strength, there's not much to point out. He's wanted to ask, but hasn't out of caution. If they don't talk openly about it, maybe it's a secret they have to keep.
"Ah, look! A blue jay!"
He releases Jungkook and it gives him a slightly panicked look; Jimin ignores him, running over to where the bird is perched and stretching out his hand. Curious, the little bird hops into his hand. Jimin brings it to his level and strokes it under its beak, smiling excitedly at the animal's friendliness.
The bluebird trills with delight and hops up and down Jimin's finger, moving in a steady beat. Jungkook bites his lips, he didn't think Jimin would leave him behind like that.
Jungkook can tell he really likes birds...

"It's beautiful, but..."
But what did you do to it.
Jungkook brought a huge cage where inside, there is a tall white crested bird, its peachy pink plumage matches perfectly with the sakura trees outside. It would be a perfect gift were it not for the worry. The bird is frightened in a corner, sheltering in a small ornamental box. Jimin notices it shivering there.
"I had a little trouble catching it, but in the long run, what matters is that I caught it."
Jimin cocks his head to one side. How could he catch a bird out in the open? It's not domesticated. It's almost impossible for them not to detect his presence. Jimin opens the cage and as he reaches in to grab the bird, it pecks him on the finger. He hisses and looks at the blood oozing from the tiny wound.
Jungkook squints and gives a discreet grunt. He takes Jimin's hand and sticks his finger in his mouth. He closes his eyes, sucking in the crimson liquid that gushes out endlessly. Jimin blushes.
"Thank you." he murmurs with a weak smile. Jungkook opens his eyes and slowly releases the other's hand.
"You're welcome." replies Jungkook and gives him a kiss on his forehead.

"Did he catches that bird?"
"I don't know how," Jimin admits feeding it. The poor thing even has wounds. It looks like a dog tried to devour it. "It just carried it away."
"That's weird," says Taehyung. "Although in general, everyone here is weird. Hoseok has the most weirdness."
"Why do you say that?"
"Well, she grows flowers with thought, but even on the most disgustingly hot day, she's still dressed like that." Jimin sees outside, in the garden is Hoseok, overseeing the yellow carnations he made a week ago. Always under her umbrella and with those long gloves covering her arms. It's a rather odd trait. It's hot and it's her house, she doesn't have to go so covered. There's no social norm to cover.
"Maybe-"
"Jimin."
Taehyung swallows thickly Why does Jungkook see it that way? The man approaches in his haughty and serious demeanor that he's used to seeing him. Standing there, Jimin smiles cordially and encouragingly at him.
"Do you need something my lord?"
"I need you to help me with my work" he diverts his gaze for a moment to Taehyung. "I'm sure I told you earlier."
"Ah, I got distracted talking to Taehyung and also-"
"Let's go."
Jimin takes no notice of it, thinking it's his fault for forgetting. Taehyung on his side, ducks his head and avoids breathing. Afraid of the look Jungkook still gives him.If it wasn't for him slowly walking away, he would think the man wants to kill him with his own hands."What's wrong treasure?"
Taehyung shrieks in fright at Hosook's sudden appearance. She looks down, finding that there is a long vine that helped her climb up here. she stammers and Hosook grabs her face, stroking her cheek."What happened?" she asks softly and Taehyung bites her lower lip.
