If you'd ask Levi Ackerman what he'd be doing after joining the training corps, his answer would be absolute and constantly, "I would be protecting a royal.. like father."

To an Ackerman this is their sole purpose, to protect the royal line of the Yeager. The current lord of the house, Kenny Ackerman was one of the greatest. Kenny successfully carried out his duties to his king in their prime when he was but a young prince, young and reckless like all the Yeagers are known for. Grisha Yeager had his own little mishaps back in the day that now were a nothing more than a fond memory for the two. However as Grisha began his rule over the kingdom he effectively grew out of his old self. (Becoming an old man, as Kenny calls it.)

The Ackerman household is a noble family that exists solely to protect the royal line, therefore Levi Ackerman is also expected to become as such.

And today his purpose shall be given to him in a silver platter.

He absolutely despised Keith Shadis, oh with a burning passion he despised the man. If he weren't such a good friend to his father he'd kill him right here right now. Graduation was just around the corner yet he still enjoys tormenting his students like little pigs. Not that he'd usually complain. But today was a different matter.

Rain poured over the peaceful streets of Shinganshina, it was when rain came that families enjoyed the warmth of their homes by the fireplace while dining with their children, telling stories of the dark times where war was profuse among the lands, laughing at some jokes and drinking warm tea with cookies.

But that wasn't the case for the trainees of the training corps.

They still did their daily exercises and ran laps across the fields despite the muddy ground. Some were even still doing their push-ups as the others raced to finish their course faster.

Levi Ackerman was one of them.

'Fucking shit on a stick..!' He cursed in his head for the umpteenth time, glaring at his dark skinned instructor who was standing beneath an umbrella. The bastard.

Levi, spurning filth among all else is forced like the rest to do their push-ups on the mud. Call him a clean freak but he can live after being dirty but that doesn't mean he won't hate you any less especially if you're the cause of it. Like now. He's burning holes as he glared at his instructor as the latter barked orders at the running trainees.

After some hours of merciless orders and exercises Shadis had finally found it in his pruney heart to dismiss the fatigued students to the barracks.

Levi went for the baths first, not being able to take the thought of grime sticking up his buttcracks anymore. He raced past the other trainees, glaring if they block his path, not that anyone would dare to even block his path for more than a second. He's very well known among the trainees and not just for his last name and social status outside the training corps but also for his superior fighting techniques, no one at sparring as ever brought him down, may it be three against one or even if their body mass was thrice his size. Levi Ackerman was bred to fight, like the rest of the Ackermans. His precision made up for his young age and height, regardless of being only fourteen he reigned over the others and hit the top of the food chain. Being the youngest of the Ackermans that entered the training corps, he's done nothing but bring in more praises for the family and not only for them but also for himself. This is what he worked so hard for, this is what he existed for. His duties to the throne and to his family.
