2 years later

Kyu Ri feels that their relationship isn't working out the way she wanted and Kyu Ri plans on breaking up with Jae Hui. Meanwhile, Jae Hui thought their relationship was going well and was planning to propose to Kyu Ri not knowing her feelings.

Jae Hui was buying a ring to propose to Kyu Ri when Kyu Ri suddenly called him on his phone.

Jae Hui: Do you need anything?

Kyu Ri: Can we meet up and talk? I want to talk to you face to face about something.

Jae Hui: Oh ok. Where do you wanna meet?

Kyu Ri: The park near your house.

Jae Hui: Ok.

Jae Hui bought the ring and drove to where Kyu Ri wanted to meet.

Jae Hui held onto the ring box as he went to Kyu Ri.

Jae Hui hid the ring box in his hand and put his hand behind his back.

Jae Hui: Hey, why did you wanna meet? Also, why do you have your suitcases with you?

Kyu Ri: I- I think we should break up.

Jae Hui: What, why? I thought our relationship was going smoothly?

Kyu Ri: I just felt like the relationship wasn't working out the way I wanted.

Jae Hui: Oh... I see

Kyu Ri: I'm so sorry...

Jae Hui: If that's how you feel, then I'll respect it. I can't force you to be in a relationship you don't want anymore. I hope you have a happy life. I'll get going first.

Jae Hui, thinking: I'm lucky I didn't buy flowers that would've made me feel embarrassed.

Kyu Ri, watching Jae Hui walking away, thinking: Was he holding onto a ring box? No... He was going to propose to me?

In his car

Jae Hui, falling into a sobbing mess, thinking: Why did I even buy the ring? It's useless to me now. I guess my proposal mission failed. I guess even after dying once, I still can't maintain a relationship for at least a decade. Why does this always happen to me? Am I never going to find someone to grow old with? Why does the universe hate me so fucking much? How am I going to find a reason or the will to live? Kyu Ri was my reason to continue living, if we're no longer together, how will I find the will to continue on living my life.

Eventually Jae Hui calms himself down and he drove back home feeling like a part of him was missing. Upon reaching home, Jae Hui took a bottle of red wine from his wine cabinet, and instead of taking a wine glass, Jae Hui just opened the bottle of red wine and just drank it from the bottle.

After a while, Jae Hui posts a picture of the red wine he was drinking with the ring he was planning to propose to Kyu Ri with, with the caption ' Proposal mission failed. I'm once again back to being single for like the 10th time in my life. Why does the universe despise me so fucking much? I'm slowly but surely losing my own will to live. The person who was my reason to continue living broke up with me, how do I eventually find the will to continue living.'

Jae Hui ends up finishing the whole bottle of red wine on his own. As he was used to drinking a lot of alcohol, he wasn't even a tad bit drunk.

A few months later.

Despite it already being a few months later, Jae Hui still hasn't moved on. Jae Hui only plans on moving on if he sees Kyu Ri moving on with her life.

Jae Hui was jogging at the park near his house when he saw a familiar figure sitting at a bench. It was Kyu Ri with a girl acting all lovey dovey. Jae Hui ran past them pretending not to know Kyu Ri. Jae Hui was glad to see Kyu Ri moving on, however, he had lied to himself about how he had planned to move on if he sees Kyu Ri move on.
