𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝐹𝗎𝖓 𝔅𝔢𝔤𝔦𝔫𝔰 ~

Chapter III: ωнєяє αяє 𝒀𝒐𝒖?~

Shadow was walking back to her home. Also known as the treehouse hidden in the forest. She then placed her hands in her pockets. Why did Kaysen want her to be his assistant so badly? What was his actual purpose? It all didn't make sense to her. She barely knows him and she knows he also barely knows her...Right? Shadow just sighed, noticing she was almost at her home. Soon, she arrived at her peaceful treehouse.

Shadow noticed the number lock and put in the code. When she was done, the lock made a beeping sound before unlocking the door. She opened the door and got inside, making sure to close the door once she did get in. Shadow yawned, "What a night" She mumbled to herself as she walked over to her room. Shadow heard a small ring, realizing it was her phone. She grabbed it from the pocket and noticed the notification. As she was opening her phone while walking to her room, she noticed Suki sent her a message. Once she got in her room, she read her text.

"Hey, Shadow. Just wanted to remind you that I will be coming back this Friday [Aka Tomorrow] from the trip."

Shadow then texted back,

"Ook! :D"

She then placed her phone on the bedside table before going to her closet to grab her PJs. As she grabbed the clothes, she closed the closet after she grabbed it. Shadow started to change to her PJs. After she finished, she decided to call it for the night....Which she flopped herself to bed. Including snuggling under the bed covers. Shadow had her eyes close, trying to fall asleep...Slowly but peacefully, she started to sleep. Shadow was now asleep, snuggling under the bed covers...

The moon was shining on a full moon, through the Tree House. Breeze peacefully brushing the leaves from the trees and moving along with it. Everything seemed peaceful. The animals were in their doze, fireflies shining in the night as always, a full moon shining the Tree House and the whole forest, and lastly, Shadow sleeping comfortably....Little do they know, something big was about to happen. As the creatures of the night were asleep, footsteps were heard. Light, soft footsteps that only insects will hear...

Meanwhile with the sleeping little Shadow, she was still snuggled under the bed covers. Nothing interrupted her peaceful sleep. Just nature's peaceful noises of sleep. Then a little knock was heard. It definitely did not sound like nature's noises. The little knock continued. It sounds like an actual knock..from the door? The little knock continued and continued, slowly being loud to a big knock. Shadow's eyes slowly opened up, tiredly. She looked annoyed from it, even tired. She quietly sighed as she sat up, yawning. She looked at her phone, noticing it was 12 am. Shadow sighed, getting up.

Before she could react, she heard a loud crash from the door. She perked up and immediately tried to look what happened. She slowly opened the door and peeked, noticing the door was almost destroyed. She also noticed bright lights from outside. After a few seconds, some people with high tech clothes and weapons, wearing a black mask with a blue circle on it. They were searching. They crashed every single thing they saw. They even broke some furniture for no reason! Shadow's eyes widened, she was scared and confused. She slowly but quickly closed the door. Shadow was kinda panicking from this situation but did the right moves.

She grabbed her bag and quickly started to pack her stuff. While she was packing her stuff to leave, she heard a familiar voice. "When you all are finished with this area...go next with the rooms." They said, in a cold and stern tone. Shadow froze a bit, "What the..." She muttered beneath her breath. "What is Mr.Kayson doing here?..." She added, quietly to herself. A good question indeed...What is Kayson doing here? That is when it hit her. She finally realized what was going on. She was pissed off by it but finished packing her bag.

Shadow made sure she had her phone with her. Luckily, it was right on her bag. She then heard someone trying to enter her room which she quickly but quietly went to her window. When she opened it, she noticed the 'escape' rope and immediately grabbed it. Now she was going down from the rope. When she was going down, the door finally unlocked and one of the tech people kicked the door down. They looked around with their guns but no sign of Shadow... "Sir Kayson, she's not in her room" They said, looking around still as Kayson stepped in her room. "She has to be here." He replied with a stern, cold tone once again. "Look harder, 015" Kayson added as the tech person 015 nodded and continued to look.

"You can 𝒓𝒖𝒏 but you can't 𝒉𝒊𝒅𝒆"
