A month after the events in Area Zero everything seemingly goes back to normal. Except it doesn't. Mariana and her friends still have the events of Area Zero on their minds - especially Arven.
Mariana tries her best to get Arven to open up but he prefers to pretend everything is okay. Even when Mariana enlists the help of Nemona and Penny, Arven still pretends everything is okay.
With the end of the school year coming close, the group of friends are under a lot of stress. Despite this, it doesn't stop Mariana to try and get Arven to open up. She doesn't understand why she is being so persistent but she soon comes to realise the feelings she has towards Arven may not be strictly platonic after all.
