*11th Grade / 18 yrs old*

Today, I was going on a class trip to Italy with my first period class, history. We just got done with our day and we were instructed to bring our duffel-bags to school so we can just go straight away. Our school ends at 4:45. By the time we leave, I'm calling it to be at least 5 p.m. We'll be stuck in traffic too. I'm excited to see everything though. The only problem I have with this trip is that I'm being partnered Tom.

We're in 11th grade now, and I've gotten 'help' from multiple people but none of it stops him. He's done everything from physically to mentally bullying, obviously verbal bullying as well. I tried to argue with the counselor, the one who set this whole shit-show up, but he declined me switching partners. He told me:

"Everybody's already with their desired partners, you just ended with Tom because he had nobody else except you."

I got so angry with the counselor and stormed out of his office. He just shrugged it off, going to his work on his desk again. I was furious that afternoon, I just didn't want to not be able to go. Beautiful sights are worth dealing with some guy. But the really worth it part is Bill. Bill is the sweetest boy I've ever met and he and I are still friends despite what's going on with me and Tom.

We aren't full enemies anymore, but we aren't anything more than that either. It's confusing I don't know. I finish cleaning my locker out of the things I'll need, my duffel-bag already around my shoulder. I get up from the floor, where my locker is located, and grab my last thing. Just then, a hand slams the locker infront of me, terrifying me. I groan, knowing already that it's Tom.

He smirks at me, his eyes lowered in a dick-ish manner. I roll my eyes, closing my locker with a slam.
"Ready?"
He asks, I just nod in response, walking annoyingly behind him. He leads us out to the tour bus, where we'll be sleeping for a night until we get to the hotel. The leader of the tour, AKA the principal, leads us onto the bus by partner.

She pushes me lightly up the steps, behind Tom. I give her a glare to which only the girl behind me received. She didn't even notice, herself. I watch where Tom goes, just so I don't get in trouble for getting lost. He stops right before our seats, turning around.
"You first."
He says.
"I don't want to be trapped in there with you."
I snarl, putting my hands on my hips. I've finally learned to stand up to him.

He grasps my bag handle, pulling me into the window seat, plopping down next to me. My hip hits the arm rest, I hiss in pain as he settles down in his own seat.
"Ow! Jerk!"
I whisper-yell, hitting his shoulder. It does nothing. He looks down on me, smirking that same stupid flirty smirk he always wear. Usually it doesn't get to me though, but today it is.

I blush a little, looking to my lap. Stupid idiot, why would I blush? The principal gets on the bus, talking in the intercom acrossed the whole bus. I look up at her, her ugly glasses, her blonde messy bun, her classic teacher jean skirt.

"Attention students, the drive to the hotel will be 15 hours so you will be sleeping until we get there. We'll give you further directions from that point. We're leaving now, you may talk amongst yourselves. Bathroom is in the far back behind the curtains."

I sigh, leaning back in my seat. Tom rustles through his bag for something, I didn't care though. I lean down, searching my own bag for my headphones. I grab my iPod and plug my headphones in the hole, clicking to my playlist of my favorite music. I lay my head back, closing my eyes as I enjoy the songs. Eventually, I fall asleep with my earbuds in, the evening sun shines in the bus, creating a yellow aroma.
