"She's hot, but she's a bitch, which makes her even more hot! I mean c'mon am I right or what" Ryan smiled hitting one of his buddies on the shoulder. "My girl would kill me if she saw me talking with any of these girls." "What she doesn't know, won't kill her." Ryan squeezed his friend's shoulder and chuckled. "You should respect her either way." Ryan looked at the curly-haired man who was leaning up against the railing. "I mean, imagine if the roles were reversed. Would you want her talking to other guys?" Ryan searched for something to say.

-

Suddenly a door slammed knocking them out of their conversation. "Oh finally-" Ryan smiled as he threw his hand up "My Em" Ryan put his hand out "Ry" Emily said taking his hand. He quickly and dramatically spun her around in his arms. She was paired with another woman, she was shorter, and her hair was bubble braided to her lower back. Her expression was not a happy one. She looked extremely annoyed more than anything.

-

Her glossy eyes flickered in the light; she was stunning. At least that's what the man leaned up against the railing thought. His eyes wandered her body frame. He caught himself staring intensely like he was reading her thoughts. He found her eyes on his more than once, He was glued to her like a moth to a flame. There was something about her, he couldn't quite pinpoint it. The more he watched her, the more he began to learn about the woman, her body language said most of the things she was thinking. She was annoyed, uncomfortable, and very tired. He could tell underneath the little makeup she had on that she didn't sleep much. He was curious, he wanted to know more about this girl. But as quick as she came, she left. His eyes never left her as she walked away, disappearing into the house.

-

"What did I say? Total hottie" "Don't you have a girlfriend?" The man spoke up, his eyes pulling away from the door to the prick he called his friend. "Am I not allowed to look? I don't think there's any harm in that." Ryan chuckled slightly looking at his other friends. Ryan is quite intimidated by the man. He could feel it, and he could see it. It was quite entertaining for him and he enjoyed it. "You're completely impossible. Do you know that? I honestly don't know what Emily sees in you. That woman needs to higher her standards." "Since when did you become such a simp?" Ryan laughed out loud. The man walked closer to him "I respect women unlike you who purposely make them feel uncomfortable." They looked at each other. "Spencer, chill out it's not that big of a deal," Ryan said as his face flushed a red, sweat sitting just above his lip. Spencer didn't say anything. He looked at the other men who looked away awkwardly. Spencer's lips curled into a smile, he shook his head with a slight chuckle and walked into the house. "Where the fuck are you Chris?"

-

"Excuse me," he said kindly passing by a few partygoers. After making his way through the house he managed to find the main event. He pushed passed a few familiar faces saying his hellos briefly. Finally finding an empty wall, he leaned against it as there were no more ground seats. Spen!" A ginger man came jogging toward him. He was oddly energetic compared to Spencer. But this didn't seem to surprise him. "Why did you leave me with that fool?" He said to the ginger. "Ryan? What crazy shit did he say this time?" He laughed jumping around. "Dude, how much did you get?" Spencer looked at his friend with a raised brow. Chris smiled "Let's just say she's gonna be asleep for a while." Spencer shook his head and crossed his arms. "You're ridiculous" "No I'm just good at what I do." Spencer rolled his eyes at his friend's comment. "I could teach you-" "No." "Broooo, you know im just trying to help. Your way takes too long." "My way is the safest way; the reward is greater in the end." "Oh shit Spen, Zoe told me to tell you this one-" Spencer rolled his eyes "Oh great" She wanted me to tell you a joke about pizza, is that okay?" Chris said looking at his friend. "I dont think youll like it though, its pretty cheesy." Spencer looked down and sighed "Dont ever say that in public again." Chris laughed and spoke "Have you got your eye on anyone yet?" Chris said winking at woman across the room. Spencer let out a shrug and looked up from his feet. His muddy eyes scanned the room immediately clocking the women in the silky dress. "No"

-

Spencer's eyes wandered the stage as the announcer began the show. Granted it was very boring and the only reason he was here is because of Chris and his status. Being popular gets you very far in the Big Apple. "You coming home tonight?" "No, gotta make sure Zoe gets home safe." Spencer looked at Chris and raised an eyebrow. "Chris-" "Relax, im not gonna do anything. She can't go through that again." Chris turned his attention to the runway. as he slouched against the wall. Spencer looked back to the runway, "Im sorry" "Its fine, its better this way. She just got in the way anyways." Chris spoke softly. Spencer found himself looking for someone. The woman in the silky dress. He liked her; she was attractive, and her neck looked quite divine. He had one goal and it was to talk to the women. Speak of the devil, she walked on stage. His eyes were glued on her like a moth to a flame. There was something about her, he couldn't quite pinpoint it. As soon as the thoughts came, they left as he lost sight of her. He watched as the crowd cheered for the models. "Pretty ladies here I come" Chris said shoving past people to get to the fresh off-stage women. Spencer followed closely behind his friend suddenly bumping into a familiar sight. "Sorry" a tired voice spoke loudly. Spencer took a double take quickly before losing the person in the crowd. He dragged behind Chris taking peeks over his shoulder almost second guessing himself on who he just bumped into.
