⚠️NOT FINISHED⚠️Chris falls in love with a girl named Emma, but has a spot in his heart for Lily. Chris knows that Matt had always liked Lily but can't help feeling closer to Her than Matt felt.

The first day of summer hit, and I was excited to see my friends, Emma, Lily and Norah at the pool. I had a crush on Emma for the longest time, but I had a special place in my heart for Lily. Matt loved her so I knew I couldn't go for her.
I notice Emma and Lily in the pool while Norah was sunbathing with her girlfriend, Kenzie, so I run up to them and ask them a question.
"Hey Norah, do you think I have a chance with Emma?" I ask quietly.
"Well duh, she's liked you for a really long time." Norah says as her face lights up with excitement.
Chris blushes as he looks over to Emma and Lily while running towards the pool to jump in and splash them.
Emma's Pov
I've always loved Chris. He's been my best friend since 5th grade. I think if he knew I loved him he wouldn't want to be friends with me anymore.
As he jumps into the pool, he splashes me and Lily. He looks so hot doing it.
Matt then runs into the pool after Chris, splashing us again.
"Oh my god we should totally chicken fight!!" Matt yells with excitement.
"We totally should. I call Emma as my partner!" Chris replies quickly.
I was so excited to be with Chris. I could feel butterflies form in my stomach when he said that.
"I call Lily as my partner then" Matt yells out.
"Wait can we join?" Norah jumps up after eavesdropping on their conversation.
Everybody in the pool yells in unison, "OH MY GOD YES!!"
I love Chris so much.. I just wish I had the guts to tell him.

After we chicken fight for a few hours, it starts getting dark and we all are very hungry. We go and pick up Nick from his friend, Nevaeh's house. Chris is the driver with me in the passenger seat, leaving Matt, Lily and Nick in the middle seat, with Norah and Kenzie in the back.
"We should go get McDonald's. I've been craving it lately" Nick says, breaking the silence. Everyone was hyped up to get some food, especially since McDonald's was their favorite go to fast-food restaurant.
Me and Chris' hands slowly touched. We held hands the whole time, not knowing Nick took a picture, posting it on Instagram.

Lily's Pov
I have a feeling that Matt likes me.. I mean, I wouldn't be mad if he did.

We get home and Matt grabs me by my hand and pulls me into his room to talk. Emma goes up to Chris' room, while Nick, Kenzie and Norah hang out and watch movies in the living room.
As I walk in, Matt pulls me close, looking me dead in my eyes for a sign of approval. I look at him the same, and lean in to kiss him. He kisses me back.
Butterflies fill up my stomach as we lean more into the kiss. He grabs my waist to hold me closer, as I run my fingers through his hair gently.
"Sorry" Matt says quietly, thinking he forced the kiss onto me.
"It's okay. I've wanted to do that for a long time.." I admit as we lean back into the kiss.
Nick walks in, as his jaw drops walking back out as quickly as possible, slamming the door.
Me and Matt don't stop the kiss. It was too addicting; like we were stuck. I loved this too much and wished it would've gone on forever.

Emma stayed the night in Chris' room, and I stayed in Matt's while Norah, Kenzie and Nick went to Norah's house to hang out and spend the night.
