Vita's POV:

"Okay- that is it. I am officially lost."

I exhaled unhappily through my nose. My prediction had come true. I got lost within my new school. I thought I went the right way on the map, but turns out I didn't.

"UGHHHHH! THESE DANG HALLS ARE TOO COMPLEX! HOW CAN SOMEONE DEAL WITH THIS EVERY DAY?!" I yelled angrily. I was hungry, tired and in a raging mood. I sat on the floor in one of the halls and stayed there. "This is too much to handle. Where is that brother of mine when you need him?"

"Oh, so you're the other female student. What are you doing on the floor, sniveling, feeling sorry for yourself?" A harsh female voice snapped above me. I glanced up to see another student that was in front of me. I couldn't make out any major features, but I could tell one thing for sure. She was pretty tall.

"What of it?" I scoff.

I didn't want to be lost, it wasn't my fault. But her tone made it sound like it was. It was just too embarrassing for my liking. I stood up and brushed my robe off. I didn't want to make it seem like I was that unmannered. I turned to the female and scowled at her.

"I'll be on my way to the Mirror Chamber now. No need to bother with me." Then I started walking away.

"I beg to differ. What you said has me thinking otherwise. But- I'll respect your wishes. I guess you can find the Mirror Chamber by yourself."

I turned back to her. I had already gone about some steps away, but her voice was like a taunt. What put me off the most was that I didn't want to be late to the ceremony. It was like I was being backed into a corner and my only escape was a dark, mysterious alley. I let out a deep breath and nodded.

"Fine . . . I'm lost, and I don't know my bloomin' way around. So uhhh-"

"Rayleen Mortem." I nodded at the name.

"Rayleen Mortem, would you be ever so kind enough to escort me to the Mirror Chambers?" I smile, trying to be friendly. I don't really make friends easily. Ace was just a genuinely funny person though, so I took a liking to him. Rayleen had a bit of an attitude, but I thought she meant well. Rayleen walked towards, a satisfied look in her eyes.

"Glad to know you can be honest. Now, we have to hurry. If we were late, you might not get into a dorm." I nod as she grabs my arm, "Now, I hope you don't mind me taking the lead."

"I don't mind, but what do you mean by thATTTTTTT, AHHHHHHHHH-"

Before I could react, Rayleen pulled me away with enough force to go water skiing. I got sick of the feeling. She was rather fast, so I guessed that she was pretty good at sports. For all I know, she could be horrible, but her speed said otherwise.

"Ow, ow, ow!" I yelped as she turned a sharp corner, "My arm isn't a strong rope you know!"

I heard her grumble something like, "Pitiful," but I couldn't catch it because the sound of people talking reached my ears, "Mirror Chamber, remember this place." Rayleen said at last as we reached the door. She walked inside but it took me a moment. I was rubbing my wrist where she had gripped it.

"Hey wait-" I stumbled inside and followed her.

"Shh," she hissed, pointing at the mirror. The ceremony was about to start, "Take a seat somewhere. Surely, you don't need help with that either." Rayleen sniffed haughtily. I gave her an aghast look but found an empty seat next to a boy with blue hair and blue eyes.

I smiled at the boy and then waited for the ceremony to begin. I saw a man with a crow mask walk to the front. He began speaking, but I wasn't paying much attention. My mind was on other things. The main one being, what dorm I would be in. I mean, I'm not that much alike to my brother. We have looks, and some of our attitudes alike, but nothing ever was exactly the same.

"Now, I shall begin calling your names. One by one you will walk up to the mirror. Then it will choose the dorm that is best fitting to you."

At those words, my anxiety grew. I didn't know anything about this school, or its students. Unless you count Ace. And that one Rayleen girl– But that was two of hundreds. I tried to calm myself by humming along to a song my mother used to sing. A lullaby, but more or so like a siren's song in her eyes. I cut myself off when I heard my name.

"Vita De-Magus"

I stand shakily, and make my way to the mirror. Not bothering to make eye contact with anyone. I could hear whispers from other students, but I decided to ignore it. As I made it to the mirror, I looked at its face. 'It's just like from that fairytale the old folk speak of . . .' I shiver as I hear its voice.

"Hmmm . . . Another De-Magus has come to my glass. Even more interesting that you happen to be a girl enrolling at this school." I nod in response as it continues. "You have the beauty to be in Pomefiore. Persistence that could get you into Savanaclaw. And your Nobility for Diasmonia. But I believe you would be stronger with those of you alike."

The suspense at this point was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I was going back and forth on what the mirror had said, but I just didn't understand. 'What in Never's name does it mean by ". . . those of you alike?!"'

"YULLABLY!"

I felt a wave of happiness, relief and just overall joy when I heard that name come from the mirror. I couldn't control myself. At that point, I was practically skipping back to my seat.

Yullably. The dorm inspired by the "King Of Neverland." He was the captain of a crew of pirates whose goal was to take back their home. The Neverland. Nothing would grow up, and nothing would grow old. He and his crew defeated the little boy who took over the land. In honor, Yullably honors the unity of the Pirates.

I smile to myself and think to myself.

'Just like my brother, I will make it to the top! In honor of our family!' I pause and think about that again. 'Well, with the help of my friends, of course!''
