My alarm woke me up when it started beeping. I got up quickly and got dressed. A flowing blue tunic, with white flowers, and white Capri leggings with silver sparkly flats. "Hey auntie, can you get my phone from the charger?" She always got me my phone from the charger because her room was right next to it. "Please?" No answer. I opened the door. She was lying on the floor. "Auntie!" She didn't move. I ran over to her and put my fingers on her neck. She didn't have a pulse. "Auntie!" A tear started rolling down my face. Then more and more started coming. "What do I do?!?" I started screaming. My aunt lay there, cold, lifeless. I ran to the neighbors house. They answered the door quickly. "What's wrong?" "My aunt is dead!" I wiped the tears from my face. "She's on the floor at my house. But there's no one to take care of me! My Nan's house isn't for miles!" A tear started to roll down her face. "I can drive you there!"

After an hour of silence, we finally arrived at my Nan's house. I knocked on the door. She came slowly. "What're you doing here, Julie?" "I need you to watch me." "Huh? I thought you lived with your aunt." "She's...dead." "WHAT?!? My daughter is dead?!?" "Yes. And now I have no one to take care of me." "Come in, honey." I sat on the couch. "Where's your mom, Julie?" "She didn't want me anymore, so she gave me to auntie. But I found her dead this morning." "Oh, Hun. You're so brave! I'm so sorry this had to happen to you." She went to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, she came out with cookies and milk. I started crying again. "What? You don't like cookies and milk?" "No, I love cookies and milk (sniff). Auntie used to always (sniff) make those for me." "Oh. Do you still want them?" "Sure."

I awoke with a start. There was a huge bang from downstairs. I ran down the stairs. My Nan was lying on the floor. "Not again!" My heart started pumping really fast and I couldn't control it. It felt like it was coming out of my chest. And I fell. I saw a really bright light coming from the ceiling. I was lying on the floor, and I knew this was it. As I was going with my aunt and Nan, a tear rolled down my cheek. "I love you, family. Each and every one of you."
