THE PHOBIA.

" Got everything?" Anthea asked as she pushed my bags out of the elevator. I nodded before glancing back at my home building. Today is the day. Headed towards Greece.

" Vernon will meet us at the airport." Anthea informed as we settled in the cab. I huffed.

" Can't he be an older brother and come pick us up?" I grumbled as Anthea laughed.

" After the stress you put him in after getting to know you, he would rather avoid the number of times you guys meet."

" Hhehehehehee" I chuckled evilly and Thea joined me. Soon after we pulled over at the airport and although there were multiple people there, I spotted the towering Greek man.

There he was, wearing dark jeans with a white V shirt together with a leather jacket folded in his left arm. His silver chain and watch gleaming in the night . He looked nothing like a doctor. He looked undeniably alluring, turning heads here and there.

The moment he spotted us, he walked towards us to help out with our luggages. His eyes glanced at me and I could see his pupils dilate for a moment.

' of course they must,' I told myself with confidence. I had braided my hair in two corn rows and had placed jewelry on each piercing on my face. Three above my left eyebrow, two on each of my ears and one on the right side of my nose. They would be handful during the metal detector machine but I can deal with the inconvenience.

I also wore light blue boyfriend jeans with a black top, together with a matching coat of jeans material.

" Vernon,you look more like a daddy mhhh." And just like every moment I open my mouth to sprout some shameless shit, he rolled his eyes with a small smile.

" And you look like a teenager in her rebellious phase."

I sighed dramatically as he moved forward to take out bags." It can't be helped, I look youthful."

He gave me a deadpan look." You are, young."

" And you are old." I calmly replied.

"yeah, am your old man now. Help me out with my coat" he asked. I kindly helped out and his sandalwood cologne had me zoning out.

"  Back to Earth Lucifana," Thea teased as I gazed up at her with a glare.

" Let's go." Vernon spoke as he led the way. We were to board our plane in an hour, so I and Anthea walked around Abit. It felt crazy, since the last time I was here... I witnessed my family getting bombed. On the very screens that I was staring at right now.

" Are you okay?" Thea asked as she noted my silence. I immediately pulled up my fake smile to which she noticed.

" Are you okay?" She asked again and I shook away the negative thoughts attacking my mind.

" Am okay. Am okay. Am, okay." It was more like me assuring myself. Thea nodded, though a guarded look adorned her face. 

We headed back and passed through all the necessary procedures, before we started walking towards the way to the plane.

My heart was drumming like crazy. With every step I took, memories assaulted my mind. My mother, my father ,my younger sister and brother. All those people on the plane. It felt like the same is gonna happen.The closer I approached the door, the harder it became. My hands started shaking, followed by my legs. My breathing became erratic. Fear sparked so high inside me it had me gasping for air. I need. I need. I need to breathe.

" Boom!"

I could see the explosion like it had just happened yesterday and I screamed. My thoughts were all over the place and I don't know what happened after that.
