Near the Car
Han Bin: "Soo Young, Ji Woo, and Woo Sik will ride with me. Eunji, you can go with Taehyung."
Eunji: "Hell no."
Soo Young: "Come on, Eunji, we're starving!"
Eunji: "Woo Sik can go with Taehyung, and I'll come with you guys."
Taehyung subtly shakes his head at Woo Sik, signaling him to refuse.
Woo Sik: "Uh, but I need to discuss the assignment with Soo Young."
Eunji: "You can do it later."
Woo Sik: "I just got an idea, though. Let's go, guys!"
Eunji clenches her fists in frustration and storms toward Taehyung's car.
Taehyung opens the front passenger door for her, but she ignores him and slips into the back seat.
Taehyung: "I'm not your driver, you know."
Eunji: "Just drive."
Taehyung exhales sharply but lets it slide, starting the engine.
At the Restaurant
Eunji: "Guys, hurry up. Taehyung and I have to go to the library."
Everyone stares at her, wide-eyed.
Eunji: "For the assignment."
Everyone: "Ohhh."
Taehyung, meanwhile, is plotting. I'll make her apologize. Anything for an apology.
Suddenly, he stands up. "I'll be right back—washroom."
While he's gone, Eunji orders warm water for herself.
Just as the waiter hands her the glass, Taehyung conveniently steps in between—
The glass tips over, spilling all over him.
Taehyung: "Ahh!"
Eunji: "You—!"
Everyone: "Oh no!"
Woo Sik: "Taehyung, are you okay?"
Soo Young: "Wasn't that warm water? Taehyung, does it hurt?"
Taehyung: "I'm fine, it's okay."
Ji Woo: "Eunji, say sorry to him."
Eunji: "Why me? It wasn't my fault! He walked right into it!"
Ji Woo: "Eunji, say sorry. Now."
Han Bin: "Eunji..."
Eunji huffs. "Fine."
"I'm sorry."
Taehyung lets out a relieved sigh, breaking into a smile.
Everyone watches, confused.
Taehyung (thinking): Ever since she humiliated me in class, I've wanted an apology. Even if it meant taking a little damage.
The table erupts in laughter at Taehyung's ridiculous plan—everyone except Eunji.
Eunji is fuming.
Eunji (thinking): God, Is he serious?! This idiot made me spill water on him just to hear a silly apology. just to embarrass me in front of everyone.
Taehyung: "Well, a sorry was a must." He chuckles.
Eunji: "I'm leaving."
Han Bin: "Eunji, it was just a joke."
Eunji: "I DON'T LIKE JOKES. I DON'T LIKE HIM!"
She glares at Taehyung, pointing straight at him.
"Stay away from me. And as for the assignment, I'll talk to the professor myself."
With that, she storms out and takes a taxi.
Taehyung leans back, sighing. "She took that seriously."
Soo Young: "Don't worry, Tae—I mean, Taehyung. She's just short-tempered and doesn't like pranks."
Taehyung: "Ohh, but yeah, you can call me Tae."
Soo Young: "Okkkk!"
Woo Sik: "You sure you're fine?"
Taehyung: "Yeah, yeah, I'm good."
Ji Woo: "Well, guys, let's finish our meal."
Everyone: "Yeahhh!!"
Taehyung (thinking): Oh, she's mad now? Interesting.
