Apsara

She danced in the moonlight,

Her blue clothes floated in wind,

As the jewels on her created a mesmerizing music,

The little bells on her waist sang..

Who was she seeking,in the world of mortals,

As she continued to dance the night away..

Sometimes atop the mountains, sometimes in the rivers,

Sometimes in the clouds, sometimes with sprinkle of showers..

She danced as if it was the only day she got to dance..

Eyes closed,as her slender hands followed wind,

Her lips smiled gently as if wind carried some secret messages..

As the rivers drenched her with their water, she laughed..

And it often felt like it was the sound of water..

As she danced, her clothes became cloud..

The dancing apsara disappeared as the night left..

With a promise to dance again in nightfall..
