Pain and relief

Hyunjin grabbed Minho's neck forcibly. His legs were swept from underneath him, his grip on the other's neck released as he fell harshly to the floor.
Hyunjin grunted as he landed right on his tail bone. Minho grinned wickedly, but he didn't make another move he just waited for Hyunjin to get back up.

"You're really a dick y'know," Hyunjin spat out getting to his feet.
Minho only chuckled at this. It wasn't his fault really that he was stronger than the other, he'd just been here longer.
An underground fight club run by his uncle.
He got paid good in bruises and cuts but the money wasn't bad either.

Hyunjin joined about a year ago, still a rookie in Minho's eyes, he was a spitfire, but that'd never get him far in here.
So he offered to train him, or as Hyunjin saw it was beat him up till he learned something.

This fight club is where anything could happen, hair pulling, arm breaking. It was a fight to the death, or almost. A referee would step in when it became too much.
And that was their whole being. To fight and to win.

Hyunjin sighed, switching into a fighting position deciding to go on defense now.
Minho grinned back at him, feinting a punch to Hyunjin's left side before switching it to a hook and catching his jaw.
Hyunjin jerked backwards in response dropping low trying to get at Minho's middle but getting blocked right away.
"Geez," He let out, almost getting slugged un the side of his head.

Minho pulled his punches around Hyunjin, not wanting to seriously hurt him. He knew he should give the younger the real thing but the thought of really injuring him made Minho's movements slow.
Hyunjin liver punched him, a pained groan left his lips.
"Good, good," He said, voice tight. Hyunjin wasn't good at getting hits in yet but when he did they sure hurt like hell.

This time it was Hyunjin's turn to grin, his long dark hair stuck to the top if his head now because of the sweat he worked up.
They'd take a break now, that's how Minho trained. If Hyunjin got one good hit in they'd take a fifteen minute break. Soon though Minho was going to have to change the number of hits.
Hyunjin was getting better each day, the training was paying off.

Still whenever he was in the ring for a real fight Minho would feel his heart drop.
He didn't like the idea of Hyunjin getting knocked out or his limbs broken. It's happened before, his arm got snapped pretty good, if it was tossed any worse he might of gotten surgery or worse, it amputated.

He grew fond of the other. His feelings when deeper than friends definitely deeper than trainer and trainee.
He was scared of telling him though. A fear of Hyunjin hating him would course through his veins at any thought of telling him.
So he kept it to himself.

It was Hyunjin's turn in the ring now. Bets were being passed around, most for the other opponent. Hyunjin was skinny and looked too pretty to be doing this kind of business. Those were the usual comments being passed about through the crowd when it was Hyunjin's turn.
Minho felt that familiar twinge of fear.

"Hyunjin, be safe," He whispered it under his breath like a prayer.
But that prayer was never answered.

The fight went on for a while. Hyunjin got a few good hits in but his opponent got more.
He did his best at blocking, but that wasn't enough.
Soon as the fight dragged on Hyunjin's opponent grew restless, getting more aggressive by the second. Minho noticed this, getting nervous as he started to pace around the crowd.
A well placed punch from the other man sent Hyunjin to his knees, and one more sent him to the ground fully.
His opponent was being dragged out as Minho was racing into the ring. He grabbed Hyunjin's head setting it on his lap, shaking the younger gently.

When Hyunjin didn't respond Minho picked him up, and with some help from a crowd member he got the man out of the ring. The crowd parted for them like they were Moses. Minho was outside now phoning an ambulance, when they asked what happened Minho said a scrape between them and a thief.
He didn't want Hyunjin to get into more trouble then he had to.
