Icewing Headcanons

-Since Snowfall smashed the rankings wall, many younger Icewings have been pursuing more bold and/or creative dreams and such.

-Snowfall has no mate (Aroace queen) and Mink is the primary heir to the throne since Crystal doesn't want it and is happy with her husband and her two hybrid dragonets in Sancutuary . 

-Many of the older Icewings such as Winter's mother, Tundra are still trying to oppose their ideals upon the younger generation. But Snowfall has threatened to shove them all in a retirement home and not let them leave if they didn't stop which has mostly shut them all up.

-Many Icewings have been exploring outside of their kingdom more and been going to JMA as well as many of the offshoot schools. (I will go into more detail about those later)

-Coming from some of the creative dragons of the tribe, The Icewings have recently been producing and selling more jewellery and literature. 

-On the border between the Sand and Ice kingdom lies a new village called Spirit, where many mostly Icewings and Sandwings who grew close over the time of the war have settled  down to start families, resulting in many hybrids from that area. But it also welcomes dragonets who were orphaned during the war and such from many different tribes.

-Lynx visits Winter from time to time to check in on him. They've grown close over these visits.

-Many of the current Icewings are much less uptight (and racist) as they were before, due to the absence of rankings. Although many are still a bit secretive and reserved.

-Because of hybrids, The Icewing tribe has one or two more Animus dragons back  ( I won't say who though because y'know, spoilers).

-And yes, the continents have animus magic again, apparently Boa didn't word her spell specifically enough and once she passed away, the magic mysteriously came back, although slowly.

-The Icewing/ Nightwing relationship has definitely improved a lot. Although there is still some tension, especially between older dragons.

-Many of the younger Icewings are more rebellious than they were before, often horrifying their (Kind of over dramatic) parents.

-Mink is still friends with everybody in the tribe. She has remained a little ray of sunshine and is still a pure cinnamon roll.

-Winter is still living his best life studying scavengers but Turtle and Kinkajou have moved to Sanctuary and refuse to let him isolate himself to much. Qibli and Moon also enjoy pestering him during their visits.
