It was the beginning of the summer workouts when you met him. A warm day, sweat trickling down your neck as you walked around helping the Samezuka swim team.
As a manager you had a busy job. Matter of fact you wouldn't even be here if it hadn't been for Rin begging you to help. Sighing you turned to go get some drinks for the team when you heard the loud Captain Mikoshiba yell.
"Everyone out of the pool, gather around!"
Not even looking where you were going you immediately joined the crowd amongst the boys and stood beside Rin. Looking up at your red headed friend you noticed a slightly grim look on his face. Concern filled you as you frowned.
"Rin? Are you alr-"
"Alright, ladies! This is Yamazaki Sousuke. He will be joining our team today! Please give him a proper greeting." Captain Mikoshiba explained to the swim team.
All at once everyone bowed their heads and greeted him. You, yourself being a little slow to react stood out from the crowd. Blushing you bowed and mumble a greeting. This earned you the captains attention.
"Ah! Y/N! I have a special assignment for you! I need you to show around Yamazaki, since you are the manager I expect you to take good care of him."
"Y-yes, sir." You stuttered out and with that Mikoshiba went back to his team leaving you with the strange new boy.
Anxious with being stuck to someone new you started to wring your hands and stare at the floor.
"Do you have any questions? Like where anything is?" You asked quietly trying to keep your composure.
"Actually..." The pause in the response brought you to bring your face up to look at him. Finally seeing his features up close your heart started to pound and your body went cold in the heat, " What's your name again?"
